El Dia de los Muertos compares to Halloween because they both include skeletons and lights. The lights in the Jack-o-lanterns are like the lights on the altars.

I show this in my amate art by putting Jack-o-lanterns on the altars and kids trick or treating in the graveyard.

I know that amate art has to have "blanco"; it must have a frame and it must show people living their lives.
