| Dearest Marios.....and all you wonderful NES friends! I have sat down in front of my PC more than once since i have come back but i just couldnt find the right words to begin a mail expressing my sincerest thanks to you. I believe no words can express the way some of us felt. It was just so overwhelming that my feelings certainly went out of control. Well, i will try and convert some of these feelings to words and share them with all of you.... Sharing .... a key word for me to begin. It was certainly a time of sharing .... we shared moments of the past with some tears of sadness, but most were definately tears of laughter. Some of us laughed like we havent done in the past 23 years, it felt so damn good. We shared so many feelings of love and happiness... i guess just the presence of some people brought these feelings around: Pico, i love you for your sense of humour (and of course all of your other qualities!!)! We shared a very sincere friendship that in some cases had survived more than 20 years: for me this was just so important: Lorna, Linda and Nadia, thanks for being there, you guys are very, very special and certainly made me laugh like noone has in a very long time, well except for Pico ofcourse, but i am sure you gals will agree with me there! I was one of the lucky ones to arrive real early. Marios and Christos took great care of me in those first days and i want to thank you both for that. I treasure the time i had with you and am very grateful for having been given the opportunity to get to know you both even better than i thought i did, especially Christos. We had some very deep talks, sharing thoughts, feelings and emotions from past and present. It was just wonderful...We all shared a time in our lives that was very special and through this reunion were able to share it again, experiance feelings of freedom .... hey just sliding down those slides at Waterworld with all of you made me feel like a real kid again. This experiance of sharing all of these emotions with all of you has made me open my eyes to myself. The world and people around me hardly know me as well as you all do.... they�re in for some fun now, i tell ya!!! I connected to ALL of you, i knew and remembered every single one of you from the NES days. Starting from my first form: i think Lorna and Zein were the two friends i had all the way through school.... through to my third form days which included the party lot: Mona, Nadia, Linda, Sally, Charles, Marios, Christos, Pico, Imad, Ron right through to my very precious upper six year: Lorna, Zein, Basil, Ayad....we ended up a very close bunch of friends and it seems to me that we will always carry that special feeling of friendship with us for the rest of our lives. This is what is going to make me pick up my loose ends and start in a new direction in life. I truely admit, i have been drifting for the last couple of years, especialy when it comes down to love, deep down feelings and emotions. I guess those of you who know me, will know what i mean ;-) There were of course some of us that werent so close in school days, however, this reunion has brought us together in a new, very special way that may be a turning point in some of our lives: Jaleh, thank you for being there.....Marios, what can i say? Thanks a million for organising this great time in my life. I appreciate every minute of time that was spent in getting this whole thing to work like it did. A sincere thanks to Susan, your wonderful wife, for putting up with you during the past months - it certainly wasnt easy for her and she kept her smile for us! Thank you for being you....i guess we too connected in a very special way that was new to us.....I love you, for being you....To all the wives and husbands-to-be of this crazy bunch: you were great! You deserve a medal! But there again, geat people chose great mates!!! Sorrrry! Majella, you couldve been a part of us, the only thing that proves you werent is the fact that there arent any pictures of you in the yearbook :-)! Eleanor, Susan, Sandra, Majella and John, you had a lot of character and personality coming to this reunion, thanks for being there with us. Eleanor, you are a sweetheart! I really wish that i had had some more time to spend chatting with you...but like i said earlier: its just a beginning! For those of you who couldnt make it, dont worry, we�ll give you one more chance and then we�ll forget you ;-) To all you wonderfull people out there.....lets make a real effort and keep in touch. I dont know what Marios was rambling on about: 5 years next reunion?? Come on guys, i will have died from a severe case of missing you all by then and we dont want that to happen do we now?????? | Dear friends, Yesterday Majella spend her day writing messages to you all. She enjoyed her stay with the group very much and will always remember it with great pleasure. She puzzles a lot and has given some of you a name of a god. It is for you to go through the books to find out about the names she associates you with. Dear Marios ( Poseidon ): I've heard that you changed jobs. You are now working full-time for us organizing reunions. When are you going to start your skipper training? Or do I have to take sea survival lessons?. Sorry, Marios, but next year I am not going to be your sexbomb anymore. In stead I will be your mermaid, if you like.....Love and a big kiss Dear Rola ( Gerda ): Thank you for your E mail. We miss you also very much. I think we have a lot in commonif it involves dancing. We can dance from the beginning until the end of a great night. I think you are a nice dancer. Hope to see you soon as we are planning our Autumn holidays to Egypt. Lots of love. Dear Pico ( Camelios ): I showed your pictures to all the Dutch single females. Of course they all want to be your wife. You can actually create your own harem. Do you think you can handle them, because they are just as wild as I am? I have a card ready to mail to you , but need your address!!!!Love, love, love.. Dear Petra ( Diana ): Thank you very much for the pictures. We really needed them because of Ron's inability to take decent pictures after a drink!. This explains also why Ron only had 15 pictures from 3 years Kuwait. Ron of course has all the excuses, but we know better now. Hope to see you soon, love... Dear Linda ( Aphrodite ): Thank you for rescuing me from all the strange looking Greeks on the dance floor at O'Gradys. Did you like Cyprus so much that you decided to stay an other day at the airport?, or were you searching for your camera? Lots of love Dear Basil ( Klarios ): Why did we just spoke to each other the last 2 days. Now that we gotr to know each other it was time to leave. This is an other reason for needing a 2nd reunion. > Love Dear Christos ( Oneiros): My wiskey friend. We drink a lot, we talk a lot and we danced a little. But all these things together mode sure we had a great time. Hope to see you , Eleanor & Alexi in Holland some day to continue where we stopped.love & kisses Dear Karen & Lorna ( Feronia & Libertas ): I had a great time with the 2 of you. You are just crazy girls the way I like them. Lots of jokes in the 4 wheel drive although I did not understand some of them. However I did enjoy the singing sisters!!. Lorna do you think Basil still belives I was in your class? If yes, don't ever tell him the truth.> Love All the Wet & Wild crowd: After the reunion I wish I was in your classes 20 odd years ago. You are all such very nice people. Please never change! I miss you already and hope to > see you during the next one! Our house is open for who ever is in the area. make sure you visit us then!!!
