I'm sorry I didn't get a cahnce to bid you farewell...but I guess that saved me a few tears! There is no way we can all thank you for all the hard work and trouble you went through for organizing this reunion, getting us together and making sure we all had a splendid time....it has been the very best time I've had in a very long time and I am a strong believer that no matter what, old friends cannot be replaced...there's something very special that bonds us all and makes us very alike in many ways. Please forgive us if we annoyed you in any way and give Suzan a very big hug and thank her ever so much for being patient throughout. By the way, you said you wanted to send something to Nader...and I forgot to remind you. Someone I know will be in Cyprus on the 16th, so if there's
anything you want me to send you from here just let me know and if you need to sedn Nader anything you could do it through him.
Regarding the video tape....I really think it should be edited because I'm sure parts can be deleted...do you think if I send it to you as it is you could handle that? Ghassan is going to tape something at the end so whoever wanted to see him can...and I was also thinking maybe when Nader, Souhaila & Lina get back I could get together with them and I could also get shots of them too...but that probably won't be until September when everyone gets back from their holidays. Petra your e-mail of yesterday was heartbreaking...I was at work reading the > mail when my boss walked in and saw me staring at the monitor with tears in > my eyes! Thank God he didn't question anything and just left me alone. Thank you everyone for being there and making this renunion very, very special. For those who couldn't make it, we truly missed you and you missed quite a lot too: Nader, Maha, Souhaila, Katerina, Lina & Diana, Sarah, Maria, Maya, Saeed & all the rest. As Petra said this reunion not only brought old friends together but it also strengthened the bond between those who maybe > weren't so close in the old days, and it was also an opportunity to make new friends too, Linda, Sally, John, Charlie, Eleanor, Sandra, Susan, Christos, > Ron & Majella (Hope I haven't left ayone out)! We might have all grown in actual years, but it was so obvious that no one had reallly changed, we
felt as young as we were in school and could all still communicate very well. I think that's what makes us very special. Thank you Pico, Mona & Lorna for your wonderful sense of humor...it wouldn't have been the same without you guys. Thank you Nadia, Eric & Jaleh for > sharing the banana ride, Rola for being there and everywhere....and for Jaleh, Basil, Ayad & Surur for coming all this way just to be with us.....Surur, I miss being our long morning talks already & Ayad, thank you for taking care of Mona & I during the midnight walk...on the dark highway. And Basil, your company was very much appreciated. Karen, next time we expect to see you with your daughter, you were a sweetheart. By the way Pico & Imad...Ghassan is so jealous now, he said he didn't know you were going to be there. For all the rest and all the spouses..you were really all so wonderful, and it was great getting to know you. And last but not least...Super Mario...you were the protective father who kept making sure that everyone was having a splendid time and we ALL did..A VERY BIG THANK YOU TO YOU & SUSAN. Hi to all you beautiful people out there.
I have been criticized for keeping quiet but this was not without reason. I have to keep a low profile, have gone underground; the police are after me. They are after me because they have noticed some dodgy activity a couple of weeks ago in Limassol. They claim I was sighted with a bunch of suspicious characters, dancing on tables, creating chaos on the waterworld "TIT" and attempting to loose their tail by leading them on a wild safari chase on the N-W tip of Cyprus - they noticed the change of cars.
Because of my past, they have satellite pictures and videos of Q8 NES, they believe that these activities are part of an international conspiracy to shake down the Global status quo. They have traced down the diverse nature of the people who attended what they believe is code-named the "Reunion" and claim that my connection to these "Wet and Wild" bunch is definitely serious trouble.
The CIA is now involved and is trying to trace down Videotape that they believe will shed some light on the whole subject. They fear that by next year the "PLAN" will be completed somewhere in between the Bahamas and Greece but are not sure if it is in between due East or in between due west - that pretty much leaves room for the whole Globe to be considered. They also do not know exactly when this will take place. They are tracing down my e-mails and the only thing delaying them is the overload of their system - unable to cope with so much mail. They believe we are quite intelligent as on one occasion they posed as a road check for drinking and driving (I remember that) and placed a bug in our car. However, they feel we were aware of that and misled them by playing Demis Rousos on tape and were singing out loud 70,s tunes. They also think that we are trying to confuse them by changing our email addresses. I tried to explain that we are a bunch of people, we all met around mid 70' s, and that we actually like Demis Rousos but they found that a sick joke. I slipped away just when they were trying to sass out exactly who Pico's wife is, who and how dangerous this Super or Skipper or Super Skipper or Skipper Super fellow with connections in Russia and Romania is, and exactly why there always seemed to be chocolate on the tables everywhere we had been. I thought I had more chances going undercover than explaining to these guys and so after this message I will disappear for a while. Please use Elena's email address for emails directed only to her or me and withdraw her from the cc list. Her boss was the ex president of Cyprus and has close contacts with CIA and the likes. They nearly caught up with me when I popped into her office from the roof. I came down a rope through the window, wearing a black musk, for a few minutes to access my emails and six hours later I was still there - and I didn't even get some good sex on the office desk. My dear friends,
By this time you should have all returned home Wet�n Wild and hope all is well on that end. As I already started missing you all blustering NES crowd, I thought to drop you a few lines and say a very BIG THANK YOU for coming to Cyprus and to let you know how much I valued your participation and friendship during your stay. There are no words to describe how much I felt seeing you all again and watching you all having a smashing time, making us famous all over we went �just like the good old days. I will never regret arranging this wonderful event and all the late nights I have spent emailing you, the running around, the sacrifices (no comments please) and all other costs involved were worth the trouble and I would do this again all over again and again.
I would also like to express my gratitude to all for your kind words, the speech and various gifts although I believe that what I did, I have done it for all of us and we should all thank each other for being there for each other. The gossip, the fun, the excitement, the tears, the adventure, the sadness, the romance, the laughter, the heat, the food and drinks�we had it all. This would not have been so special without any of you and there are no exceptions.
It is amazing how we all bonded again so quickly after 20 years and seeing you all saying goodbye to each other with tears and sad feelings, this means a lot. I HAVE PUT TOGETHER THIS EVENT AND IN RETURN I CAN ONLY ASK YOU TO TRY AND KEEP IN TOUCH WITH EACH OTHER UNTIL OUR NEXT REUNION IN 5 YEARS AS WE ALL AGREED�IF WE CAN SURVIVE THAT LONG. For those who were not able to make it, well you have missed a lifetime experience and we will certainly wait for you next time this comes around. I hope you all had an excellent time but somehow I have this feeling that there is no need to ask this question. I could see it in your faces. Your comments will be appreciated.
Please do forward me any changes you may have in the future of your contact details, as I need to carry on updating our contact list for our whereabouts. This of course includes all the non-participants of the Cyprus Reunion. Now, if you all excuse me I need to get some sleep eventually and I think you should all do the same. Does anyone know what the word sleep means?
