Dear Pasha Mario: Well I am back in the States and sleeping in my own bed which I must say is pretty nice. When I opened my emails this afternoon there was a rush of messages from the reunion and of course I was reminded of all your wonderful efforts to make it a possible and a memorable experience. What you did was impressive and I wanted to let you know that despite my inability to connect with the group, for reasons that probably have to do with my derranged psychology rather than theirs, I tremendously enjoyed getting to know you a bit closer than I was able to during our Days in Kuwait. I do remember you back in kuwait being quite easily adept in placing yourself in the limelight and I always wondered why or how; now I know the answer and it has to do with your selfless ways and skill in managing communication. I hope that we will keep in touch. Thanks again for bringing us together. Best wishes to you and Susan (please say hello to her for me)...AYAD RAHMANI
Hi Mario, Words cannot express my gratitude for the wonderful reunion. You achieved a miracle by managing to direct all those 'rowdy' people. I personally had a great time. You started something very very big. Many, many thanks to you and to your wonderful wife. Please do let me know if you are ever in Canada so that I can arrange to take you out in my own town. Lets stay in touch. Best regards, BASIL BAHOSHY
Well I think all has been said that is to say about our get-together - except why wait 20+ years for the next one? Anyone wanting a bed for the night when visiting UK let me know, we are 15 mins train journey from centre of London - no good if you're visiting someone in Glasgow though! Thank you to everyone for a great time - I think we were all 'chilled' & back into our old (almost) ways by the last day! Bro, don't forget the next time you are over in London to give us a call - there is always a bed for you here - don't go booking up hotels. Went to see France beat the Italians on Sunday - great atmosphere - Sorry Ron, I think you guys were robbed. Luv...CHARLES HOOD
Hey guys, I'm still here. "I had the time of my life" and you are all "simply the best" so "when will I see you again". Can you hear me singing?!! Has anyone seem my camera?!! Love LINDA
Hi there, I didn't get a chance to say thanks for the great reunion although I sent it > 3 weeks ago from my office but unfortunately it didn't go through. I have fantastic chocolates from London! Does anyone want some? Take care...DANA - The Chocolate Lady!
Dear Marios; First let's get one thing sorted out. Should we give you the title of Super Marios or as I have seen from your latest e-mails Skipper Marios? Or if I may suggest SS marios as in Super Skipper Marios. Whatever the wet and wild bunch decide to call you, you sure deserve a standing ovation from all of us. The Cyprus reunion did not only get a lot of people to see each others again after such a long time but it has also generated this huge amount of e-chat that makes us all feel as if we were just next door to one another. I have also noticed that everyday there are new members joining and soon our computers will be saturated with e-mails from NES friends, I look forward to it. As for 2001, I stongly recommend Greece, whether it be sailing on boats or the island of Corfu, I am sure we can arrange for everyone to have another memorable reunion (the we includes mainly you and probably Pico and hopefully myself). I would really like to thank you for the effort and patience you had with all of us in Cyprus and congratulate you for the excellent job you made. I would also like to thank your wife for her patience and support during our stay. I understand you are coming to Greece soon so I look forward to seeing you then. Best Wishes >IMAD ZEIN
Hi Marios. Yes, I'm home. I was awake 48 hours straight getting here (what with the heart-to-heart you, Ayad and I had > before my departure), so I am not feeling quite as prolific as everyone else...which brings me to my next > point: What the heck is going on??? Everyone is sending these long letters. Makes the rest of us look like the underachievers we aren't in this department. My net net: it was an awesome time, memories were definitely made, and I agree with whoever said that we do have an abnormally good looking group of peers. To those of you who did not make it, this is the part where you should be kicking yourselves :) Thanks again for organizing an AWESOME reunion. Here's to the next reunion!! > JALEH
Hi Marios, How are you doing sweetie? I am sorry for being quiet and not replying to anyone - have just resigned from my job (see what you guys did to me!), and so I have a lot of things to wrap up around here. Anyway, what I wanted to say was that it was so nice to see you guys again. I never expected it to get to me because I thought I had a life after all these years. And although I do, it was so good to be able to be myself (not mummy or wife or girlfriend or anything) - just me again. You made that happen - not by organising things but by being there and being yourself. So thank you. But I must say that I was depressed for about a week after I came back which is why I was so silent. I haven't forgotten about the cap (maybe you have). I would love to have a copy of the video, so please send me one to the following address: > KAREN MEIDI

Unaccustomed as I am to making long (winded) speeches - I am so impressed by the ability we all possess to communicate so well. My true reactions to the reunion apart from joy, happiness, nostalgia, sadness was also surreality (were we suddenly back in school?), amazement (how much of an influence that time at NES and Q8 had on our subsequent lives), and awe at how attractive and gorgeous we all looked (if you think this is superficial - DO let me know - NOT!!) I think the best thing is that we have now all broken the ice and I hope that means we can visit each other and call each other and talk to each other without all the hang ups and reservations which a silence of 20 odd years naturally invokes. You know me - how hard must it have been for me to keep so quiet for so long !!! To everyone at the reunion - sante To Super Marios and the hosts - here is a big wet sloppy kiss and thank you from the heart To all the long-suffering partners - major respect To all my old friends with whom I renewed contact and to all the new ones I made - my door is open (well not literally) and I hope you seriously take up this sincere invitation to visit/stay/take furniture/use the bathroom - whatever at my place in London. Already - I hope to see Rola and Nadia next month and Marios the month after and Christos when he gets here...obviously you will be getting the best of British weather - hot hot hot (not). OK enough already - but did anyone else suffer any major injuries from that Wet and Wild place besides me with my left (and writing) arm all twisted up and Nadia with her provocative groin strain? I can only raise my arm in a half salute which is giving people the impression of some fascistic revival here > With love>LORNA RODERICKS
