Our chapter test will be held at a farm near Morrison, TN .  If you are planning to test your dog please email Mike Sebright at [email protected] or call  256-722-8094 for more detailed information.   Complete the NAVHDA 2004Official  Test Entry form (see link below) and mail with entry fee to:

Michael L. Sebright

155 Raspberry Way

Madison, AL 35757-8306

Test fees for NAVHDA members are NA $90, UPT $100, UT $110.  If you are not a NAVHDA International member then add $10 to the entry fee.

TEST ENTRY POLICY

In order for a dog to be officially entered in the test, a completed application, backup pedigree (or official NAVHDA No.), and test fee must be received by the test secretary.  If the applicant has to pull a dog, the entry fee will be returned minus a non-refundable deposit of $15 only if there is someone on the waiting list that pays and fills the spot.  No one will get a refund if they pull their dog within 2 weeks of the first day of the test.

TEST DAY INFORMATION

Please be at the field site for 7:00 am on the morning that you are scheduled to run (See Handler/Test Day List below).  Walk your dog and be prepared to move to the water site if the judges decide to do the water work first.  The judges will start with a brief meeting with all of the handlers and present an overview of the test and issue a running order, etc.  Remember to bring water for your dog in the field because there are no ponds in the field for drinking or cooling off.  All UT dog handlers must wear an orange hat at a minimum for safety in the field.  Also, if anyone plans to attend the dinner either on Fri or Sat night they need to let the Carol or Norm Prima know ahead of time so we can give the restaurant a count (see Test Motel & Dinner Info below).
