In March 2002 we went to Maui, spending 4 nights in the "upcountry" area of Kula, and 3 nights in the west coast resort area of Lahaina.  The picture here is April in front of a waterfall we hiked into on our drive along the Hana Highway.
Yes, I actually had a fleece jacket on (but not for long).
More Hana Highway.  You can see the road winding around the other side of this inlet.
Some scenery along the Hana Highway, on the northeast coast of Maui.
Mike and April in a state park near Hana.  This particular park had a beautiful black sand beach.
April taking a dip in Blue Pool.
Some more Hana Highway scenery.
A wood sculpture of the Hawaiian King Kamehameha.
Charles Lindbergh's grave, just outside of Hana.
Our rental, on the slopes of the volcano Haleakala.
