Johannesburg - Four teenage boys convicted of murdering an elderly religious couple,

Franklin Brownley, Theoniel Pieters and Earl Schoeman, all of whom were 17 at the time the crime was committed, and Ishmael Ely, who had turned 18 a few months before the murder, have each been convicted on two counts of murder and one of aggravated robbery

The four tied up lay preachers Lawrence Mustoe, 69, and his wife Monica, 72, in their Meredale home on May 8, 2002, and proceeded to rob, stab and strangle them.
