Pregnant Afrikaner woman murdered at Pretoria smallholding

APRIL 17, 2001 -- Mrs Annemarie Viljoen, 23, of the smallholding Haakdoringhoewe in Pretoria-North, was murdered Tuesday at her parents' subsistence smallholding -- apparently just after her father had left for work at 6 am.

Her throat was cut by her unknown assailant(s) who had ambushed the unarmed, pregnant woman at her parents' smallholding. Nothing was stolen. Police have no motive.
