Individual Care Programs
HOME
Full Care: Our full care program serves children ages 2.75 - 5 yrs. and is available year round. The hours are 6:45am to 6:00pm, Monday through Friday.
The teachers provide fun activities and fun learning projects for the children througout the day. During the summer months, we shift gears to become more of a day camp setting.

Extended Care: We have an extended care program for our PM
Pre-K program, which begins at 6:45am and remains open through 6pm.

Before & After Care
:  Begins at 6:45am and the bus will arrive to bring them to Bodkin at 8:55am. They return to Mt. Carmel at 3:55pm and can remain until 6:00pm. The school age teachers allow for free activity time as well as teacher directed activities. Plenty of homework time is available in the afternoons, but play usually wins out. In the summer time we go full swing and turn the before and after program into a full time summer trip camp. We have lots of exciting themes and trips. Check out the summer camp link for further details.

3 Yr. Old Preschool
:  Our 3 yr. old preschool program runs on Tuesdays & Thursdays, from 9:15 to 11:45am. We follow a curriculum called "FunShine Express". You can check them out at www.funshineexpress.com . The curriculum follows the whole development of the child.

4 Yr. Old Preschool
: Our 4yr. old program runs on Mon., Weds. & Fri. from 9:15 to 11:45am. This group also follows the "FunShine Express" curriculum.

4 & 5 Yr. Old Pre-K
:  Our AM Pre-K program runs M-F from 9:15-11:45am. The PM Pre-K meets from 12:15 - 2:45pm. These groups follow a different section of the "FunShine Express" curriculum. This is a more intense and in-depth study, and preparation for Kindergarten.

Regardless of what program you may choose, all of our teachers are state certified. Many of our staff are over-qualified and take more continuing education credits than necessary. One thing is for sure, you will not find another place like Mt. Carmel Child Care. Just ask some of our parents who were once students!
