Good afternoon,
Today our friends were so excited by all this snow and we decided to head straight to the park to play with Miss Megans classroom. We made snow angels, rolled around, and had a blast!
Back in our classroom, we worked on our costumes for the Holiday concert and afterward, we took a trip down to our new indoor play space for an all-school rehearsal!
For show-n-tell, Sruti brought the book The Cat in the Hat Comes Back by Dr. Seuss.
Note to the parents:
The Scholastic Books are in Make sure to pick them up in your childs classroom tomorrow!
We are still looking for adoptive families for our beta fishes...
Have a good rest of the day!

I hope that your first day of vacations went well It was great to see so many faces yesterday at the sing a long. Thank you so much for taking the time to be there and listen to our friends. The children were so excited to have you in the audience.
In the morning, Pam (Jacquelyns mom) brought a magnetic board with a nativity scene and then Rama (Srutis mom) came in to talk to us about Indian holiday traditions. Sruti even put on her beautiful traditional holiday costume for us. She also gave the children a picture of a lotus flower and little bags of different color lentils for the children to do (place glue on the picture and use the lentils to decorate).
Some random tidbits for you-
The afternoon friends brought home their rest bags filled with blankets, sheets, etc... to be washed for the next semester.
Everyone brought home a bag with a few things:
Winter journal to fill out over vacation. We will look at everybodys journal the first week of school.
Holiday presents made by your child were sent home along with your childs little snow person
Have a great vacation and holiday! See you in 2005!
