A slave upholds the honour of his/her House at all times.
A White Silk in training can enter my Homestone as all rooms are safe but they may not enter a tavern or inn without being accompanied by the Master/Mistress/Trainer.
They are NOT to serve food, drinks or attempt any dances in the presence of any other Masters or Mistresses but their own.
If you are a white silk in training, let the occupants of the city know, by requesting permission to enter and study. If you are asked to serve anyway, please inform the Mistress/Master requesting such that you are in training.
A trained White Silk must maintain their modesty.
White Silks may NOT sit upon another Masters lap or dance. They may serve food and drink (only IF their Master/Mistress allows), they are NOT to engage in any physical contact with another Master. If such is requested they should politely beg forgiveness but inform the Master/Mistress that such is forbidden by their Master/Mistress.
All slaves must request permission to enter any establishment. If they are ignored, they may repeat such, and if still ignored may go quietly to the furs or leave as the case may be.
If you must go AFK for a short period of time, request permission to be inattentive for a moment. If it is a longer period of time, request permission to leave and do so.
Many slaves show their disrespect for Masters and Mistresses by the use of thoughts. Saying in their defense that no one can read their minds. By such they are showing disrespect and such is not allowed. Gorean Masters/Mistresses are also Masters of the art of body language, especially as concerns their slaves. You are a slave, such can be punished.
The various rooms within the city are roleplaying rooms, the use of im or ooc is to be kept to the bare minimum (screen freeze)(r/l emergency). If such a comment must be used, it would be better to request of the Mistress or Master one is attending to whisper to them. In this way the entire room is not subjected to your personal objections or explanations. Nor is a slave to slip into ooc in order to be rude or disrespectful. We are all there to have fun, not to listen to one person bitch and moan, or have the entire room disrupted by argument.
You do not greet anyone entering You do not smile at a brother or sister.
You do not trip on furs in order to douse someone with a drink, or pretend some such accident to create a scene. I know and you know that is a bid for attention. You are slave, this is punishable, for we know it was deliberate.
All freepersons are to be addressed as Master or Mistress (read their profiles when they enter if you do not know them). Greet them as such when they enter. If you don't know their gender, then address them as Master. If they request differently, remember the freeperson is always correct. Do so, but you may blush or look uncomfortable to do such.
While freepersons are not always right, as far as a slave goes, they are never wrong. You have the last words. They are "Yes, Master." Arguing with a freeperson is not allowed.
A slave does not start a conversation with a freeperson, unless they first request pemission to speak and get it. You don't keep advertising your presence. If a freeperson looks in your direction, your eyes are to be down, you may not answer verbally.
Slaves do not normally speak in IM's (instant message) to any free person you do not know without first requesting permission to "whisper". I understand that there may be times when you need clarification or help. There is no restriction on slave to slave IM's.
If you receive an IM you consider vulgar or inappropriate, report it to your Master/Mistress or one you know in the room. Ask permission to ignore such a person. A polite but firm request to the offending party, from a Master or Mistress, to leave the slave alone has worked wonders in many an instance.
Collared and uncollared slaves are subject to the discipline of free persons, should their behavior warrant such. A slave giving serious offense, whether intentional or otherwise, should expect a response. Such responses can range anywhere from an order to a kajira to beg their master to beat them for inappropriate behavior to finding themselves gagged and manacled to the wall awaiting their Master to pick them up.
Slaves will dutifully submit to any punishment administered by a freeperson. Collared slaves may be asked to leave and their Master/Mistress notified. Repeat offenders are subject to banishment as a Master or Mistress will not allow them there for fearing that their House will be dishonored. And will so inform others. (Please note that I do not mean the snerts that intentionally hassle. I mean a legitimate Master or Mistess.)
Slaves shall not handle any money. Gorean law permits they carry money in their teeth or in a small pouch around their neck by their Master or Mistress.
Slaves shall not handle ANY weapon at any time. This includes knives used in the kitchen, such as butter or paring knives. The exception are specially trained fighting slaves used as bodyguards.
You are not a submissive, you are a slave. A slave is property. If you are not up to pleasing manner, stay out of the city.. You may be alluring, appealing, even humorous, but you are not to be graphically erotic.
Finally, Bratty subs, insubordinant behaviour, or "snertiness" will not be tolerated and offenders will suffer strict Gorean punishment for their actions -- up to and including being tied and made a small snack to the hungry sleen.
These have been written so all kajira/kajiru will know the conduct required when they 'visit' the city of Port Kar.
