Quiet Of The Night

In the quiet of the night
my mind tends to wander,
turning to thoughts of you
I begin to reflect and ponder.

Then tears flood my eyes again,
making my pillow wet.
Once again,
the heart chooses to remember
what the mind wishes to forget.
