In dreams I walk with you
as you gently hold my hand.
In dreams we travel to far off places
in some distant foreign land.

In dreams you speak to me of love
as lips gently brush my cheek.
In dreams your arms still comfort me,
giving me the safety that I seek.

In dreams you softly touch my hair
and whisper words of love in the night.
In dreams strong arms still hold me close
until the morning's light.

But then I awaken from my dreams
to remember that you're gone, and then,
I wish that I could go back to sleep,
and begin my dreams all over again.
