| Malcolm and Angus Young formed AC/DC in the early 70's. The name AC/DC came from the back of their sisters sewing machine. Their debut came on New Years Eve in 1973 at a Sydney nightclub. |

| AC/DC's frontman, Bon Scott was found dead on February 19, 1980. Brian Johnson was hired to replace him. The album Back in Black was released in July, 1980 and was dedicated to Scott. His presence is still felt within the band. |
| In 1985, The Night Stalker, Richard Rameriz claimed AC/DC's song Night Prowler, made him commit 16 murders. The media accused AC/DC of devil worshiping. Media and religious organizations claimed AC/DC meant Anti-Christ/Devils Child (which was bull shit). I, like thousands of other teens, was forbidden to listen to any AC/DC. Thank Goodness for headphones. |
