| 4-29-02 - We have added a second hotel to our list of places to stay in Orlando. The second Hotel is a Hampton Inn near Altamonte springs and all of the wedding related events. 4-27-02 - As of last night Michele and I formally finished our premarital counseling. We've also received the invitations and have them stuffed as much as possible but chose not to finish them just yet because of the impending postage rate change in the near future. We've also starting aquiring the 'little things' including the party favors, table decorations, gifts for groomsmen, etc. Our South Florida Engagement Party was a HUGE success and we can't thank everyone enough for attending. We've included three highlight pages for the wedding party that have photos and the story of the day. We've decided on Ohana's Feast at Disney's Polynesian Resort Hotel for the rehersal dinner. The best part is it's also on Disney property, so everyone is very close to their hotel when the meal is over. 3-21-02 - Long time no update, although lots of things have happened: 1) Michele and I have entered into Pre Marital counseling and our initial compatibility testing came back very positive. 2) Our South Florida Engagement Party is going to be Easter weekend hosted by my step mom. Formal engagement photos have been taken, but we have yet to decide if we want to put adds in the paper. 3) I'm in the process of putting together new web pages for the website including information on the wedding venues, places to stay, directions, wedding party information, etc... The website updates should be done by the time our save the date letter gets sent out. I'm also eliminating page transitions and some photos from our website to make it easier to load the pages. 4) Honeymoon plans have been confirmed: (A week on the Celebrity Melinimum cruising the eastern Caribbean) Ship is pictured below: 6-9-2001 - Just got the story and photos up of our engagement party. Please see our NY engagement party page HERE. Also, we've settled on a place for the reception. Michele has put a down payment on the Altamonte Springs Civic Center. The Civic Center has a playground in front of it so all of you folks with children have a place to take them if they get bored of wedding music and dancing. 3-24-2001 - We've got a DATE! December 14th 2002. It's close enough to Christmas for the Christmas theme of the wedding but far enough away that it shouldn't interfere with other family plans. The wedding is going to be held in Orlando and more details are to follow. Also, I've just about got the whole wedding page finished. We are going to send out an email to everyone pointing out the URL. Michele's mother is also going to be sending a newsletter anouncing the family happenings as well as our engagement. 3-10-2001 � I proposed to Michele today and she said YES. Currently Michele and her family are in the formative stage of discussing plans for the wedding and we have the wedding tentatively scheduled for Spring 2002 although dates subject to vary. | 10-9-02 - Michele had her shower and it went wonderfully. All who attended had a great time. Please see our shower update to read Michele's thought's on the day, as well as see some photo's of the event. We want to thank everyone who traveled so far to be with Michele on her special day. We are finishing putting together the final components to the wedding. Unfortunately do to extreme challenges that have recently arisen in our lives, we had to extensively modify our wedding plans. One of the modifications is going to be a reduction in the number of guests we are able to have. It is with depest regret that we will not be able to send invitations to everyone who received a 'save the date' letter. We will update you further on these developments as the situation permits. |
