7th Grade
General Music
Seventh Grade General Music is a state required class for those not in a performing group.  Seventh graders take only one semester of general music, which meets daily for 50 minutes.  The class is set up as a music appreciation class, learning music through all time periods, from early music to modern music.  We will learn many different genres of music, composers, music theory to understand the language of music, as well as learning to play guitar, alto recorder and composing music.
