Being a fan of Charlie Brown, this website is, in essence, inspired by Lucy of Charles Schulz. There is nothing more fulfilling than being your own boss. To earn something on my own, for something I love doing that to me is the ultimate fulfillment.
This site contains some photos I took, websites and graphics I've created. Hope you enjoy them. Please feel free to hit the tabs and the side links and e-mail me for feedback. Thank you for visiting.
My name is Duds Daquilanea of Iloilo City, Philippines. Welcome to my website.
I love to write, read, build, form, construct, and examine. So my hobbies are expanding according to interest: photography, drawing, cross-stitch. I've been making web and print graphics for several years now and have delved into website design just for the fun of it. (Yep, I'm a geek too). I've mastered html and css and Im now getting my feet wet on flash, javascript, php and asp. I always say, learning stops only when life stops. I love creating things out of scratch or getting pregnant with ideas and giving birth to a whole new template. Truth be told, my left brain works better than my right, but a good work out between the two has produced great results.
Being the 5th child of 7, sandwiched between two aggressive sisters, and sharing everything with siblings, I had to grow up with a lot of imagination. I was lucky enough to experience turning bottles into action figures, books into dollhouses, kamote (sweet potatoes) into pizza pie with Chippy toppings, plastic tea sets into knobs for spaceships and floors into gurgling lava. I had my share of blanket tents and caves of overturned beds and chairs. My parents raised me and my siblings to have a genuine curiosity for life. I have a reputation for being too detailed and I secretly believe I'm an undiagnosed obsessive-compulsive. Id be willing to try anything at least once except broccoli. I generally had fanciful dreams, most of it I blame on television and books. Everything I learned as a child, is a result of the wonderful world of Disney, Bugs Bunny and Super Grover. So it is no surprise that at my age, Im turning into a cartoon character.
This webpage is a shameless and cheap attempt to sell self as an upcoming, skilled (Naks!) web and graphics designer.
I work free-lance. Which doesnt mean that I work for free. I work for a FEE. Its just that I work for me. But I know you get that. So I will stop rambling and let you move on.
Thanks for visiting.
Superman has a letter S. Spiderman has his web. Super Grover has his adorable blue fur. I have my superlogo too. It initially stands for my lastname. But it has evolved into a lot of other meanings that you wouldn't want to know ;)
