Enough of the formal introduction. Make yourself comfortable in our digital abode. Well, we are finally into second year. One whole year went by in just a flash. All of us can recall our first day here, and how we felt coming to a new place. But eventually all our doubts and fears vanished and we were taking the first step to reach our ultimate goal in becoming a software engineer.  We look back and look with awesome wonder at how beautifully God's hand guided us, so far  through all the ups and downs. We know that whatever is before us is in God's hands, so there is nothing to fear. Here is a poem  sharing some of our experiences coming here.

A year in Karunya

There is a time when we left School

Joined college,new pals,new rules

Had no idea where we’ll land

Grateful to be on sacred sand

Had plans of joining a field in IT

Alas !we landed in KIT

It was a new life in the hostel

Oh! Going out would be fatal

Meet the new mates of M.Sc

Life with them was jazzy

Went to college all in a group

With the sound of the security’s boot

New faces all around, giving a dreaded stare

Felt like being in a world without care

But then we marched for the counseling

Removed our fear, proved to be blessing

Got to the classes….ready for a new start

The teacher started it with a morning thought

Days rolled by and gave birth to exams

Sleepless nights without night lamps

Got to know each other better

Ended up in fighting later

Had our ups and downs

More time to laugh than to frown

Then came Christmas along…

All were joyful with a song

Ran home for the holidays

Surely it was better than the other days

The new year came along

Took oaths …but failed to hold on

Then came the final exam

Prayer cell’s getting jammed

All getting into the study mood

Oh! We had no time for food

Prayed for approaching exams

Thank GOD for HIS helping hand

We did our best, HE did the rest

Oh! it was a unforgetful test

Here I stand at the year’s end

Thankful for my MASTER’S HAND.

So, there's a bit about some of the times we went through on our journey so far. To share your views and comments, post a message on the message board.
