| 30 Year Reunion June 16 & 17, 2006 |
| The 30 year reunion of the 1976 graduating class of Miamisburg High School was held the weekend of June 16 & 17, 2006. We began the weekend at the B & B Riverfront Hall, located on Main Street in downtown Miamisburg (our very own Jayne Lindsay Blair, Proprietor) with cocktails, a buffet dinner and dancing to the tunes of a local DJ. Along with those of us still living in Ohio, classmates from Indiana, Kentucky, West Virginia, Florida, Alabama, Nebraska, Texas and California gathered for a weekend of fun, fellowship and reminiscing. A slide show of photos from all four yearbooks and previous reunions brought back so many memories. There was even a "memorabilia" display which included yearbooks, a cap & gown, a graduation announcement, photos from Kinder and Mound Schools and other items. The celebration continued on Saturday evening at the 119th Annual Miamisburg Alumni Association Dinner/Dance held at the Holiday Inn - Dayton Mall. Classmates hung out in the hospitality room, and wandered the halls of the hotel reconnecting with other Alumni of Miamisburg High School. At one point in the evening, the Class of 1976 literally took over the dance floor! The weekend came to a close in the wee hours of Sunday morning. |
