| "Rocky" wins the Oscar for Best Picture in 1976. Jimmy Carter is elected President. "Happy Days" and "Laverne & Shirley" were the two top television programs. The United States celebrates it's 200th birthday. In Philadelphia, 28 people die of a mysterious virus dubbed "Legionnaire's" disease. The Cincinnati Reds beat the New York Yankess 4 games to 0 to win the World Series. Top two songs of 1976, "Disco Lady" by Johnnie Taylor and "Don't Go Breakin' My Heart" by Elton John & Kiki Dee. All of us graduate from Miamisburg High School! |
