Preface

The construction industry, like any other, has through evolution and technological advance become increasingly complex. Always a high-risk business, it has thus become even riskier.

But underneath this complexity lie certain truths, certain basic fundamentals. The need has long existed for a "Guide" of these fundamentals that would be of guidance to general contractors, specialty contractors and subcontractors as well as to professors and student in universities or technical institutes.

Obviously, there is no complete educational material in this site can provide all the answers. However, this site represents a valuable additional to the body of literature on this subject.
