Gardening is medicine that does not need a prescription...and with no limit on dosage.

The birdbath under the birch tree.  You will see in the 2003 photos that the birch no longer exists.  It died after a long drought in the summer of 2002 and broken down during an ice storm in March of 2003.
This is the gate that separates my back garden from my Mother's who lives next door.  I built the arbour in late summer of 2002.
My fountain nestled against my deck and surrounded by ferns.  I plan on introducing hosta to this area in 2003.
The plant identification tag said Johnson Blue Geranium.  This is a wonderful perennial that reseeds itself profusely.  I have moved this to several places in my garden and have given many specimens away to friends.
A night photo of the arbour looking onto the patio.  This didn't turn out as well as it actually looked in real life.  Isn't that usually the way it goes.
This foxglove is from my Mom's garden.  It was much too beautiful not to show here.
The clamatis is growing up the side of my mother's deck.  Unfortunately she lost this specimen in the drought at the end of the summer.
