| Imagine this: Kirby, Bowser, Yoshi and Donkey Kong fighting to the death. You either thought that sounds the most fun you can have with 4 freinds (well 4 male freinds anyhoo) or you are deeply disturbed by the whole prospect of Kirby swollowng bowser hole. | Its only when you pause the game and zoom in that you see how the detailed the character models are, just look at the screenshots! Arenas and stages follow up to this standard with only a couple of exceptions. But the good ones are absolutelty fantastic. For example, on the Pokemon stadium arena it is at first just a green surface with a couple of ledges and a screen in the background, but after a while the screen will indicate a type of stage and it will morph into it. Rock will morph into a mountin, water a river and scenery etc. Extremely high standards. Lastly, the multiplayer. This is without doubt the best of the lot especially with 4 players at once. You will not notice how long youve played untill you collapse from sleep deprevaton the next morning! So, all in all, the best Gamecube game out at the moment |

| The idea of the game is exactly that, 11 of Nintendos all-stars battling it out with special moves they have used in many of their past games from Fox's laser pistol to Kirbys hammer. But how does the game actually play? Well lets start all the way from the begining, the start up screen. Nintendo have for the first time ever made an FMV and what a stunner it is! But its not the flashy intros that make a game. When you first actually play the game you will probably have mixed feelings. they will either be 1."Im having the time off my life!" or "Why is this not how i thought it woud be?" |
