| establish themselve in the gaming industyagainst the established giants of Sony and Nintendo. It is the most powerfull but Microsoft will have to start bringing out better and better games to deal with competition from Sonys PS2 and the Gamecube from Nintendo. The Xbox launched with a price tag of �299 but had a shakey start and sold very few units. Microsoft decided to reduce the price to �199 in a bid to sell more. It worked and the Xboxs' sales went up enourmosly. Games are being confimed thick and fast for the big black box and Microsoft have promised a massive 100 + games will be out by the end of 2002. |
