| So, the Gamecube has finally launched in Europe and Nintendo, as always have brought out a launch game starring Mario. Thing is, Mario is in the story, theres no doubt about that, hes one of the main characters in the game, but you dont actually control him.Hmmmmm, your probably thinking, 'get on with it' so i will. Its pretty obvious from the title that Luigi is the main character (if you didnt get that by now, how the hell did you turn on your PC?) |

| So basically, your mission is to find Mario and on the way, hover up | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| The gameplay is just what you would expect from Nintendo, easy to get into and fun from start to finish, its what the Gamecube pad was designed for. So the game has fantastic graphics and the gamepay is classic Nintendo magic, thats pretty much about it really, except one thing.. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| any ghosts that get in your path. Simple, well sort of. Anyway, the review. Firstly, the graphics are somr of the best weve seen out of the launch titles, beaten only by titles such as Rouge Leader. You can hoover up practically anything with some pretty flashy effects to go with it. Cloths will get sucked up, tables will shake violently andeven water will fly towards you if you are close enough. Mirrors reflect Luigi and the lighting effects are second to none with Luigis flashlight giving of loads of shadows and illuminating bright objects. Luigi has a wide range of comical expressions and animations which will make you laugh on many occasions. |

| Its far to short. The game will last about 10-15 hours at the most, which is great for casual gamers but but anyone else will be left wanting. There is a lot af replay value as you will definately want to get an A rating (my record 106,000,000-B) which is well, pretty hard and also 'one thing that none of us has read in any other review' when you do complete the game you unlock the hidden mansion where everything has been moved about and it is twice as hard |

| Anyway, the story goes that Luigi has won a mansion in a competition he didnt even remember entering. He decides to meet Mario there but when Luigi arrives there is no sign of him. Eventually Luigi meets up with a rather derranged scientists who tells him the mansion is haunted and, get this, Mario has been kidnapped. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
