| UNDER 200!!!!!!!!! | ||||||||||||||||
| Not a lot to report, just wanted to let the world know that I've FINALLY dipped under 200!!!! Wearing "large" shirts and size 16's that are a little too big, depending on the cut and style and all that... I forgot that normal-sized clothes gave you choices besides "relaxed fit" and "extra relaxed fit." :) I'm also very glad that Wal-mart and other stores have clearance sales before spring. :) I'm making out like a bandit at some of them... Thanasi jokes that I'll send us to the poorhouse because of it. :) Everyone at school is still soooo supportive- funny, you would think that they would be supportive of other things, too- like upholding our very strict drug-free schools policy... but I won't digress. I'll just say this- you might have gathered that there have been some issues at school, and I don't think that I would have had the courage to step forward and put my behind on the line if I hadn't come as far as I have- physically, spiritually.... Just a thought. I'm sure it's not the end of it all, but it is an interesting reflection. Budget cuts are still looming, that really hasn't changed, but I probably elevated myself to the top of the cut list as soon as I voiced my concerns about an incident that happened at school last week- nobody likes a troublemaker. I'm worried I might lose my job, of course, but I'm trying to have faith in that if God wants me to be here next year, He'll take care of that. I can only do so much from my end, and try to do what I think and believe what's right. But on the weight-loss front, things are looking good. I've also signed up to take aerobics in a couple weeks at school with some other teachers- I'm looking forward to that. My classes are going well, school in all other respects is okay- lots of conferences and "extras" coming up in the next few weeks. Thanasi is doing okay, still looking for work, but our spirits are good and hopeful. We are grateful for everyone's prayers and support over the past few months. I'll keep in touch... Sarah |
