Butter's Spaghetti Sauce
4lb of Lean hamburger 2 cups of chopped celery diced small 2 cup of carrots diced small 2cups of mushrooms (optional) 2 cups of diced onion 2 bay leaves 1 teaspoon of salt 1 tablespoon of Italian spices 1 teaspoon black pepper 1 Pepperoni Stick...slice and quarter (2cups) 4 fresh garlic cloves (optional) 4 Large Tins of spagetti meat sauce (Hunts or other) 1 -2 tins Large tomato Sauce (Hunts) 1 Large Tomato Paste 2 Table spoons of Oil (My secrect)....2cups of Sugar
In a large pot add oil, meat, garlic, and onions and celery and carrots, along with salt and pepper. Cook on meduim heat. Once cooked add 4 cans of spagetti sauce, constantly stiring, add 1 tin of tomato Sauce and add 1 can of tomato paste...stirring constantly. Depending on the texture you can decide to add another tomato Sauce. (Sometimes i do and sometimes i dont)..lol..... Then you add your Italian seasonings as well as the pepperoni sliced in quarters. Add your bay leaves..1-2 ...Lower heat to simmer and add sugar. Then let it simmer for 2 hours stiring occasionaly. You may add any vegetable you desire..
