Thongy's Chili (Norma Prianti)

Large Package of Hamburger
2 Green Peppers (cubed)
2 Red Peppers (cubed)
Jar of Hot Banana Pappers or Jelapenos
3 Stalks of Celery (sliced horizontally)
Small Tray of Fresh Mushrooms (Sliced)
1 Large Onion (Chopped)
1 Garlic Bulb (Chopped)
1 Tablespoon Chili Powder
2 Large Cans of Dark Red Kidney Beans
2 Large Cans Tomato Sauce
1 Large Can Tomato Paste
Small Amount of Vegetable Oil

In large skillet fry up hamburger. Set it aside to add to your chili after. In a large pot, add small amount of oil. Add enough so that you can swirl it around to cover the bottom of the pot. Put in your onion and garlic and cook over medium heat until they start to get tender. Add the rest of the vegetables and cover pot. Depending on how HOT you like your chili, take out an amount of hot peppers and chop them up to add to the pot. I sometimes pour a little of the juice from the jar into the pot also. Keep stove at medium heat and cook for about 15 minutes. Add your Kidney beans, and hamburger, the tomato sauce and paste. If you find that it is too thick, add a bit of water. Then add your chili powder to tatse. Cover and simmer on medium heat for approximately 1/2 hour. But Chili always tastes better the next Day :)

Norma's Hash

2 Cups minute Rice
2 Cans Flaked ham, Turkey or Chicken
1 Can Mushrooms
1 Small onion chopped or onion salt

Of Course for those who don't know.... Cook the Rice in equal amount of water.  Fry up Flaked meat with onions and mushrooms.  Add cooked Rice and fry together.... Real good for those quick meals....
