I thought 'Oh a blue maid outfit', then it dawned on me that she's possibly Mint from Tokyo Mew Mew. While it's good that TMM is getting some popularity, I hope it doesn't hasten some stupid company to license it before I get a chance to see more.
Might as well add a few notes and comments. I don't know how many noticed as much as I did, since this is a sore spot with me. In the dealers room this year, it seemed to be "Gougefest". I had hoped to pick up a Tiny Fairy Snow Sugar DVD from Pioneer, but dealers were charging as much as $5 more than the DVD should have been. Lots of dealers were overpricing their stock. There were only a few who seemed determined to make a little money without sticker shock. $5 may not seem like much, but for someone like me who doesn't care for anime DVD, especially at prices that are just not right, it's a lot.
YTV was there with a live remote setup, and I don't know if it was a good thing or not. I do know that the staff needs a line jumping policy spelled out - with no excuses. You get pulled out of line for a live TV broadcast, you'd better have Security explaining to people where you were in line that very important bit of info when you get back in line.
My group came up from where we live our miserable existences a day early so we could spend an entire day at Pacific Mall. One phrase comes to mind - FREE PARKING. I hope I get to come back.
