First off, I am glad I got to go this year to Anime North, because due to problems at home for the past year and then some, and seeming to come to a head in recent months, I didn't think I'd be going at all. It's nothing with me, it's financial problems with my mother. She got injured on the job, and it's been a fight for her to get injured compensation while trying to get treatment, fending off creditors which lead her to file for bankruptcy. I had no certainty if we would get kicked out of our home due to a lender who's been deceitful and lying these past few months. I wouldn't even know if we'd have utilities shut off... She's now without a job, awaiting being able to file for federal disability, and hoping Citicorp doesn't kick a crippled woman out of her home. It's been a fight, and I deserved this break from it all. Anyone who cares, give me a hug and tell me things will be allright, ok? T.T
But enough of that, let's get to some pictures. Anime North ran the same weekend of Anime Central in Chicago, so all the "big guys" and some ladies snubbed Anime North this year. I'm going to do my best to make you feel bad you did that! HEH!
 I've been to Anime North since the first year, and this is the first I've seen a lovely Morrigan cosplayer in person. Very nice indeed. Also kawaii shoujo Aka zukin Chacha and Meilin Lee. ^_^ |
 Guys will be jealous when I say I know this lovely miss who delighted my heart by dressing up as Miss Daicon. (daisuki!!) I'm partly responsible for the inspiration. I dub thee "Most Photographed." I've got some video for some nice snappies which I promise will be up. |
 Aah! A second cosplayer as Morrigan! I award this beauty my "Mokkori Award". If she was offering people a chance to put one of those bat outlines on her tights for a fee, I'd have paid to do one on each leg. But she wasn't, so I let this professional do his job. Lucky guy. |
 These two friends really surprised me this year with their costumes. And they surprised me even more with their performance in the Masquerade. They won the "Most Visually Pleasing" award. I have that on tape, and yes they certainly are. ^_^ I helped with the Japanese text on the yellow thingy. It says "Kill the enemy". ^_^ Nachy is Jam from Guilty Gear X and Mana is Kasumi from Dead or Alive. ^.^ |

 The reason I got this girl's picture is because I know a good Devil Hunter outfit when I see it. This girl's costume looked just right. I love the red color because it matched the red in my figure kits. (I have all 4 Yohko vinyl kits, btw.) |
 Now, some people would say Amidala here would be reason enough to take this picture, but both of these girls are quite beautiful. I would have punished myself if I didn't take their picture. My reason is because of Chun-Li. ^_^ I want to give them an award, but I can't think of something at the moment. |
 I have no idea who this girl's costume is, but I took it for the mirror effect, and the editing I had to do to remove someone from the background in the mirror. |
