Anime North 2003 - Onward to the Snappies

This image came out totally by accident. On Friday as we were waiting for Registration to open up, I got a photo of this girl and her friend as a character from one of the Unico movies in the main lobby of the hotel. I thought this was so cool, so I used it here.

I dunno what happened with the hotel cable this year, maybe it was the same as last year and I didn't notice. But for those who knew how to hook up a VCR, you could see the events thingy on one channel and record a clip if you had some tape. ^_-

Finally the line begins to form for registration and this girl shows up. From Tokyo Mew Mew, Ichigo in her cafe outfit. I asked her if I could get some sort of autograph, and she refused. I dunno why. I even debated not using this snappy. Anywho, her reaction put a damper on me attempting to get other autographs this year and decided not to try my one fun themed page project. T.T It's like not she had to sign her REAL name. ^_-

I have NO idea who this girl's costume is, even though she told us, I don't remember and didn't get it on video. T.T onegai!

No idea once again... T.T I do believe she was in a trio during the masquerade. More to come on this one.

I remembered to get a shot of the nice banner for Anime North provided by the hotel. I wonder why the year was left off...

A friend tells me this girl is Dark Magician Lady from "Yuugi-oh". She's one of the Yuugi-oh cards.

I get a warm feeling seeing Shadow Lady. ^_^ When I won a prize in Dark Horse's Super Manga Blast! (See issue 28), I chose a Shadow Lady graphic novel in addition to an Utatane sketch. Now I'd like to talk her into creating a Shadow Lady costume that shows some leg. ^_-
