An exciting start to school!
Book bag - your child will probably find it easiest to transport items to and from school in a small or medium size bookbag.
Pencil Box - a pencil box is handy for storing crayons, pencils and glue neatly in our desks.

Supplies - crayons, pencils, glue, etc. are purchased by Mrs. Gillam for her class. Please send $2.50 to Mrs. Gillam for your child's school supplies before the first day of school.
Snack - a morning snack time is held each morning in Kindergarten. Students may bring a small drink and snack or sandwich each day. They are also encouraged to bring a small hand towel in their lunch bag to place under their food items to facilitate clean-up.
School Bells - The school day starts at 8:10 AM. Students may arrive any time after 7:30 AM but please try to arrive early enough so that the student is settled in his desk ready for classes to start before 8:10. Students arriving before 8 AM will meet in the Assembly Room and await their teacher's call to line-up.
The Kindergarten school day ends at 11:45 AM. Parents who wish to pick up their child after school may do so near the carport steps. The busses line up next to the carport so please park in a parking spot nearby. If there is a change in the normal transportation, please send a note to school with your student.
Daily Folder - Each day, kindergarten students will bring home a folder with papers to keep and important school notices. You will also find attached a small card with a picture representing the kindergartner's behavior for that day. All students start the day with a School Zone card. If a student needs work in some area of his/her behavior, various cards with a green dot, yellow dot, or red dot will be sent home instead.
