| School Zone, Green Dot, Yellow Dot, Red Dot Each morning starts with a School Zone for behavior. As the children learn the rules of the classroom, they are encouraged to maintain correct conduct by a simply understood color system similar to a stop light. A colored dot is sent home in the daily folder to keep parents current on behaviour needs. |

| The Huntingdon Fire Department brought their Fire Safety House to our school. We saw a video about how to be safe in a fire. We practiced what we learned in the smoke room. Feel the door. Is it hot? Don't open it if it is hot. Put a pillow at the bottom of the door to keep smoke from coming into the bedroom. When the firemen come, go to your window and yell "Help! | We saw the fire engine and all of the tools that the engine carries. We tried on a liked to try the fireman's hat and coat - but his air tanks were very heavy for us. We pretended to drive the fire truck. Thank you to the Huntingdon Fire Department for teaching us how to be safe. |
