My Memory

By: Lydia

On a nice hot and summer day, we were at Orlando, Florida. We were at a restaurant. There was a row of restaurants on a street, but I forgot what the streets name was called.

Well, we were at a restaurant, and we had to wait for our table. I wanted a table so bad I got out of my stroller by myself and went to go find a table. When my mom looked and didn't see me she panicked! She said, "Where is Lydia!?" I was wearing a yellow dress so my mom would know what I looked like.

My mom was crying and started to ask people, "Do you know where a little girl is wearing a yellow dress?" Then a man came out of the restaurant and said, "Are you looking for a girl in a yellow dress?" My mom said, "Yes." He said, "I found her." My mom started to cry for joy. And so they found me! I will keep it in my heart forever.

A Favorite Memory

By: Kylei

My sister and I were jumping on the trampoline. It cracked as I jumped. I heard the spring popping. Then I jumped on my bottom, and my sister did it too. Then she went really high and landed on my arm. My arm went crack and broke. It didn't hurt except a little. I was screaming and yelling because I knew I did something to it. It was weird looking. Then I went to the hospital and was in a room for three hours. They put a white cast on me and put some kind of wrap on my arm. Then they gave me a sling and told my dad to go to a children's hospital. We went to the children's hospital and sat in the waiting room for five minutes. They put an IV in me and put me to sleep. I woke up in the recovery room. I was very dizzy. I could barely talk. I also felt really weird, and the nurse gave me a popsicle. I went home, and I was about to go to bed. But I threw up! Then I drank a glass of water and went to sleep!

My response was, "There's two swings. Do you want to come with me?"

All By Myself

By: Jacob

One day I was alone outside shooting hoops. I shot the ball. I missed, and then it was behind my mean neighbor's backyard. Their names were Mr. and Mrs. Houser. I wanted to retrieve the ball, but I knew I wasn't allowed to. I was worried. I might get caught by Mrs. Houser. "I'm going to try," I said to myself. I got caught. I was frightened to death. She screamed at me in her high-pitched voice. I laughed at that. Then I ran for the hills! I hope that never happens again!
