CLASSROOM RESPONSIBILITIES AND DISCIPLINE PLAN

 

My responsibilities as your teacher:

• Treat you with respect and care as an individual
• Provide you with a safe and orderly classroom environment
• Provide you with the necessary discipline
• Provide you with the appropriate motivation to learn
• Teach you the required material

 

Your responsibilities as my students:

�         Treat your classmates and me with respect and care as individuals

�         Come to school prepared (Be punctual, have your binder, books and supplies with you, etc.)

�         Stay on task at all times and focus on your work (SUCCESS=EFFORT)

�         Listen attentively and be cooperative

�         Learn the required material

�         ALWAYS do your best!

Rewards:

All students who adhere to their responsibilities and put their best effort can receive:

• Success at learning.
• Praise
• Additional Preferred Activity Time (PAT)�
• Table Points for group cooperation and/or achievement.
• Individual Points

Consequences:

If the student CHOOSES to be irresponsible:

1^st infraction������������������ Student is given a verbal warning.

2^nd infraction������������������ Student�s name is written on the board.�

3^rd infraction������������������ Student loses a privilege (e.g. PAT, points), and is assigned a lunch detention.

4^th infraction������ ����������� All above, student calls home, meets with the Principal, and/or is assigned after school detention.

*If a student receives their name on the board 3 times in the week they will receive a lunch detention.

* If a student receives their name on the board 4 times in a week, they will receive an after school detention.
