" THE PREY " Hark, hear the eerie predators howling . As they snidely stalked their prey.. Searching to fullfill their hunger. Allowing nothing to obscure their way.. Cold-hearted scouts amongst them.. The leader on his way.. A ravenous pack ..determined to entrap A lone and weary prey.. The prey had carelessly wandered.. Unthinking of what laid ahead. The chase ensued.. And the bravened brood.. and the prey.. went 'round and 'round with stead. Inevitably the prey tired.. And with no where else where to run.. Promptly they encircled their prey. Snarling, taunting and teasing, Seemingly having fun. The leader`s fangs .. tore it apart.. Leaving a bloody, gaping hole... In the carcus that lie still. Where once it had contained a heart. Alas ..I ask have they sated Their ravenous appetites ? As I still sit alone and I wonder... Whilst I stare at the blackened nights.... No Stars shining high above me.. Not one solitary flickering of light. A heap of bones.. An empty soul..... Hear the echoing sound.. Of it`s hopeless cries.. Bellowing.. mournfully in the night... by Starr B.H / NY 06/11/2001
Like a flower love is.. comparitively speaking. It grows from a seed, It buds and then blooms.. Like a miracle it comes to life.. From the bosom of the earth, Behold it`s magnificence as it blossoms, Into a most awesome, colorful, radiant sight. Nurtured by the sun and the rain, Then slowly it withers.. As the cold weather approaches.. The frost begins to errode it. Slowly it loses it`s petals one by one. Then the stamen.. and finally the stalk. As it returns to the earth to hide in comfort... It then becomes one with nature. Free from all harm.. only to renew itself Incredibly even more astonishing When the spring returns. Starr B. H/ NY
Feelings of love are ours to hold. We shall render them as ours once more, and we shall again live in harmony.. SBH
Aye, 'tis a sad world we live in.. When happiness can only be obtained by some.. Solely when they're meddlingly destroying others. SBH
