Education Philosophy:
All students can achieve provided he or she receives carefully planned instruction and appropriate support resources. As a teacher it is my responsibility to provide instruction in a learning climate that is safe, respectful and fosters self empowerment.
The Resource Specialist Program provides instruction in the core curriculum utilizing a repertoire of strategies and classroom activities. Individual Education Plan(I.E.P.) goals and objectives are embedded thoughout instruction with a pacing plan that covers major required state and national standards. The course integrates literature and writing instruction with analytical reasoning strategies, critical thinking skills, and the appropriate use of informational technology that are necessary for success in today's competitive world.
