This is my cat page!
This is our late Roofie with our late deer Effie... he loved the deer and they never chased him. The deer do chase our black cats, thinking they're small bears.
Tippy is on the left; big Sheba is on the right. They're at the end of our dock at our vacation home.
This is Tippy standing on a four-inch ledge asking to come in using the Silent-Meow(tm).

The north wall finished, shutters finally done and back up. This was the hardest wall, and we left it for last. Kevin did the ladder work, I did the lower.
The north wall of the house in progress--upper window patched, new color is dark, old light and shutters are the new red color
This house was built on our island starting in 1929 and finished in 1935 by my husbands grandfather who built it himself with some help each summer vacation. The last painting was done in 1980 the year following the lightning strike which hit the top of the roof just above where the photo ends. It was time to redo it (we were putting it off) and this summer we finally got up to doing it. The shutters used to be green, then brown, so I changed them to barn red and repainted the siding a darker mahogony. It took us over 6 weeks to clean it prepare it and get it done. We tried to have a vacation during it so we did not work 8 hrs/day. Usually 4 hrs max.
