The town council has decided that they need to take drastic measures to produce ongoing revenue for the town. They believe that the best way to accomplish this would be to create a theme park. Being mindful of the fact that education is important, they have chosen as their theme "The Nine Planets." The council is requesting your help in creating this theme park in a manner that is both exciting and educational. They look forward to hearing your proposal. |

Each group will create and present a multimedia presentation with an accompanying script folder for the town council in an attempt to "sell" your theme park proposal to them. Keep in mind, this is a big task. Your plans need to be detailed, educational, and exciting. Best of luck to you and may the best theme park plans receive the bid.. |

1. The first page of your presentation should show the entrance sign to your theme park. It must include a captivating picture and the park name. The accompanying script should describe the relevance of the park name to the theme of the nine planets and should explain the significance of your picture.
2. The second page of your presentation should be a map of the general layout of your park. Keep in mind that there are to be nine sections to your theme park; one for each of the planets. You should label each section. For examples, you might label Earth as "The Waterworld." You may choose to include street names, such as "Asteroid Belt," if applicable. Your layout may also include artistic features such as a model rocket garden. The accompanying script should explain your reasoning for choosing your layout design. It also needs to explain why you labeled each planet section as shown in your slide. For example, you might say that you chose Earth to be the waterworld because it is the only known planet to currently have water.
