Welcome to astronomy!!! We are about to take a trip that extends beyond our wildest imagination. The first thing we must learn is to get our bearings straight. Then, we will slowly venture away from planet Earth to explore our natural satellite...the moon. We continue farther and discover the sun, our star. We will explore what makes it bright, how long will it continue to shine, and the effect does it has on us. We will continue out through the planets....and go beyond. Of course, we will give credit where credit is due as we study those who have gone on before us to show us the way. I can't wait to take this trip with you.
