Tips for Success
1.  Come to class prepared to learn!!!  Eat right.  Sit up straight in class.  Bring your materials to class.  Mentally focus.  Take good notes.

2.  Read the assigned material.  Pay attention to illustrations and examples.  Read actively.  This means write down what you are learning and any questions you have.

3.  Do all assignments.  You may ask others for help...but do the work yourself. Copying is
not the same as getting help.

4.  Learn the vocabulary words.  You will encounter them throughout the year.

5.  Use study techniques appropriate for your learning style.
