Princess This is one of Princess' favorite spots. She is "hangin' five" over the foyer from the loft. We got Princess as a companion for Spanky. He would get really upset when we would go on vacation or even away for a weekend. This stopped after we got Princess. Princess is our "professional victim." She is bottom of the totem pole when it comes to pecking order. Her favorite pastimes are eating and getting brushed. Her secret - likes to be held upside-down and have her tummy rubbed, but only after she has been brushed.

Cinnamon Cinnamon caught in the spice cupboard. She is usually found in high places, but not usually in a cupboard! She came to us as we were about to move. We lived along a busy state route and would have been hit by a car eventually. Her original parents moved but left her behind. She is our smallest cat physically, but first female in cattitude! Largest voice of all the feline inhabitants and loves to sing at night. Her secret - loves to stand up on the dining room table and put her front paws on our shoulders while we stroke the side of her face with one hand and scratch her back with the other!

Grey Guy (G.G.) Caught here in the act of serious relaxation! We do not know his story. He has been hanging around our house since the spring of 1997. We had him neutered, and it achieved several things. After the operation he no longer disappeared for days at a time (when a local female went into heat) only to reappear all beaten up and starving. The second is that he gained significant weight and seems much more healthy. He hung out predominantly on our back porch, where we had a Dogloo "Ruff-haus" complete with doors, a blanket and a microwaveable heating pad for cold weather. We hoped to have him in before the winter of 2001/2002. He also had a heated water bowl... Best Outfitted Feral Cat award recipient for 2001! He got into three bad fights in early 2002, and after the second one, I threatened him with living in the garage and basement if he got into another. Within a month, he did. He has been living there ever since. There have been two noticable effects: 1) he has gained even MORE weight (he has no clue how to play with toys); and 2) it is a pain to get the cars out of the garage! We must catch him and keep him in the basement whenver I need to use a TransAm or lawn equipment. But he is worth it! His secret - he loves to use the expensive car covers on the TransAms as scratching posts. Because he can!
