Today I had a brutal exam and did very poorly on it, I'm so depressed I may kill myself.  Just kidding, I'm not really depressed about it though I did indeed do very very poorly.  I spent a lot of time sleeping today and listening to various records, I never have time for that anymore.  Then we saw "What Lies Beneath" it was very strange. Like it kept changing vibes and stuff  like first off it was like really slow and subtle like Sixth Sense, and then it got like all Hitchcock stylized and in the end it was strange reminiscent of Evil Dead II.  I saw it at King's Court Theatre, it was nice.  We saw a lot of gangsters hanging around downtown Kitchener too.  When we got back to res tho I had a Whopper and wouldn't give Ante a bite and now he's prolly all mad at me.  Oh well, the Whopper was really tasty.

Today was a day of waste.  I wasted the morning away as I was sleeping.  I wasted the afternoon away because I had Chicken Nuggets at the Cafe that were rancid and put me to sleep.  I wasted the night away because I had a delicious double bacon, turkey and ham 12 inch sub that just filled me up too much and put me to sleep.  I do not understand zener diodes or Bipolar Junction Field Effect Transistor's at all.  On a brighter note I drank 4.5 litres of bottled Naya water today.

If I were to rate today, I'd give it maybe a 6 out of 10.  I got a tiny amount of work done, didn't have too much fun, and the food I ate wasn't too enticing.  I stayed up till 6am last night because I couldnt' sleep yet was still fairly functional today. PS if you don't know I have a new url for my site:  www.minh.ishandsome.com
In case people visiting my site don't know I want to emphasize that I'm being *sarcastic* I don't really walk around acting like an arrogant prick, I'm caring, funny and *available* aka *single* aka *looking-for-someone*  Ok?  Spread the word.

Today was just no good.  I wrote my worst final ever, I blanked on some big honkin' questions.  It was bad because everyone I talked to said the exam was easy.  Well I guess that just makes me a big pile of stinkin' dung don't it?  To cheer me up I decided to open up my very first AsianAvenue thingee to see what all this hype is about. I'll keep you posted on any fun stuff that goes down.  A lot of people are complaining that this one solitary page is getting way to huge and takes a while to download.  I've conceded and shall make a new page soon soon soon, thing is I need more content.  Send me more pics or any other stuff like funny stuff you wrote or whatever.  I want to start my own community, the www.minh.ishandsome.com community which I will slowly but surely convert into a cult of some sort.  Aight?
Peace.

It's been ages since a new journal entry.  I just had lost interest for a bit, but now I've been reinspired and I hope you guys who visit haven't lost interest yet!  I'm done exams, I stank it up large.  Only one mark back so far and it's baaad. I got a 52 in Calc.  That's just embarassing. I thought I knew my stuff so I wanna see what the hell happened on that final. A shoebox filled with dung coulda gotten higher than 52.  I'm kinda worried I may fail out.  I'll scan in my transcript for this term when I get it.  BTW my average last term was 69.  Yah baby.  We went to Bomber, McGinnis, Noodle Factory and then Loose Change Louis on the night we finished exams.  It was pretty fun but not quite as crazy as I hoped.  Louis has mirrors on top of their dance floor which can furnish guys with some pretty accomadating views.  Alas everyone is pooped and sick of books.  On a brighter note I am officially done looking at books for the year 2000!  That sounds nice.  Be sure to check out page 2, some new pics, I dunno what else will go down there, but let's just say "the hillarity will continue".  Or something.

Not much time for an update today.  I spent 10 mins looking for an image of an Asian boy about to get raped because I think that would have said it all in terms of me and Physics Final coming up tommorow. Alas I could not find such an image.  However I did manage to make my formula sheet colour coordinated, black and red I decided upon even tho blue was tempting me.  Right now my room is really messy and I'm certain it's the messiest room in all of Villages.  My housemom spits at my feet and mutters evil stuff whenever I walk past her. It was kind of annoying today because I wore sandals and she was chewing tobacco.   Finally please tell all your friends to visit my site, it'll cheer me up.

Ok folks I guess this is the last journal entry before I head off to Japan.  Back to the motherland. Back to where I belong. Back to my roots.  Just kiddin' I don't really know much about Japan, I was born there then moved here and haven't been back since.  It should be quite the experience.  I'll take lotsa pics and post them here.  Speaking of pics there's a pretty huge update today go surf around and check it out.  I want to buy a samurai sword or somethign in Japan. That'd be pretty bad-ass thing to have hanging in my dorm room or some nunchucks or like someting that shoots laser beams or grenades.  I'm also looking for some accesories.  I wear no jewellery whatsoever and I think that may be hampering my style with the ladies.  Or maybe it's my obsession with violence and ego-stroking.  Oh well wish me a safe-trip and I'll take a crap over the Pacific just for you guys.
Peace.

Well I'd like to start off with an apology. I'm sorry I haven't been updating, I've been spending the majority of it lying in my bed reading magazines.  Just because. Today I went to Wal-Mart to pick up the last roll of film I had developed from Japan.  Wal-Mart is a good place to go to find fat people wearing tights and sweat shirts complain about how far the pet food department is from the Magic Cuts.  Then I had some chicken souvlaki at Jimmy the Greek and then I went home and began working on this site.  Yep that's it, tho tonight I'm going to see weezer in concert.  If you're reading this and you're going too well rock on dooood.  I'm getting too old for this kinda stuff I'm gonna be like one of those older guys in the back of the hall with my arms crossed rubbing my chin and nodding approvingly.
Goddamm ! You half-Japaneeeeeeese guurrrrls.......doooo-it-to-me-everytiiiimme.
Journal Entry #8
eptember 1st 2000

Overall today was a pretty damn good day.  Ok well the night before I went to Weezer.  If anyone of you know me in real life you'll know I mostly listen to Jazz now and mostly listened to Hip Hop a while ago.  But there was a good solid period that I was into Rock, and weezer definitely was among my fave bands.  The concert was cool but I dunno the crowd has outgrown me and they were kind of sickening, just dirty short kids wearing velour and trying to be funny.  Ahh well what can you do, some kid fell on my head in the mosh pit and I got my glasses knocked off. Amazingly Judy a friend of a friend found them at the end of the show, still intact! Albeit warped as hell.  I also bought a T-shirt at the show, alas they sold out of the one I wanted and when I asked for a large of my alternate choice they gave me a medium, alas I didn't realize this till later when it was too late and am now stuck with what is for all intensive purposes a baby-t.  I'm good for nothing.  I will scan in the ticket and post it beside this entry just for yall.
Today I got my glasses fixed miraculuosly (sp?) the dood managed to bend them back into shape without breaking them.  Tho they are scuffed to hell and it basically looks like a giant fog everywhere whenver I wear them.  We went to Docks tonight and I completed my second Bonehead move in as many days by getting jipped by the barternder (female) out of 5 bucks when she shortchanged me and I didn't realize until too late.  Ahh well it was a bummer but what can you do.  Oh yah and the final reason why this day was good was I found out I passed, with a glorious 64%, good for 94 out of 105 electrical engineers.  Amazingly my parents weren't really mad, they were just mad because when they gave me a lecture about school adn doing better I started cracking up.  And what's weird is I dunno why I was doing that I just couldn't help it.  They had funny accents going or something.

Today I spent most of the day sleeping because I was tired and also chatting it up with my first love ICQ.  Since most of you reading this have ICQ feel free to Add me to your lists, my number is 13330045.  However everytime someone adds me my computer crashes and I ahve to reboot, so don't be offended if you add me and I all of a sudden go offline. I'm not dissing you my computer is just poopie.  Oh yah I forgot to tell you about my Asian Avenue adventures.  It's because there are none, I have no idea what I'm supposed to be doing on there they give you a personal site and then a guestbook so I quickly made those but what else is there to do after that? I dunno. Oh well if you want to check me out i'm mrpoopoohead on there.  If you know what the hell you're supposed to do on there tell me please.  I had a brainstorm and thought that I could be rich by starting a BlackBlvd.com or a WhiteWay.com or something alas both URLS were taken so my get rich quick scheme was foiled.

My friend Jen (she's on this page) is so funny,  she's the only one that notices things like the fact that my last three entries all bear the same Entry number.  She's funny that way.  I don't want to embarass her by telling you guys what she got this semester but let's just say she beat me by 23% and I got a 64% overall.  Oh well today I went to Dave and Busters for the first time.  It's like an Adult Chuck E Cheeses, and by that I don't mean strippers and stuff but it serves alcohol has pool tables, and ID's at the door  It was huge inside and very well finished and nice to boot.  Very expensive tho and I wasted a lot of money very fast like the stupid person I am.  Oh well I figure it was the last hurrah before I start work and have to scale back.  Some Waterloo crew as well as old high school crew were there with me so it was fun.  I got whupped 4 straight times by Denesen at various racing games.  Ahh well I'm still a better baller hah!    Oh yah I'm working this fall at Honeywell building missiles.  Hopefully it'll be good times but you never know with missile building, could be boring.

The last couple days have been actually half decent.  Work is getting better, no more office manual reading and more on the manufacturing floor hands on type stuff.  It's fun playing with potentiometers, connectors, transformers and such.  I'm going to have to combine all those someday if I ever want to build my 4th year design project, the Python Fighter (a robot who uses artificial intelligence to battle into submission a real living full grown python).  Last night I went to a U of T frosh week dance of some sort at the Hangar, it was pretty fun.  The U of T crowd is waaay different than the Waterloo crowd.  They seem more snobby and simultaneously classy.  I dunno it was still fun partying it up with a nice sized crew.  I got home at 4:30 am and my mom was up watching TV, that was weird.  Maury Povich is on at all hours.

First day at work was brutally tiring.  I couldn't sleep last night so came into work with basically 3 hours sleep.  It was painful but work itself is neato, some cool peeps working with me and the facilities are pretty cool.  Saw the missile stuff and it's pretty neato.  I ate over 400 sunflower seeds when I got home today.

The weather today was pretty much my dream weather.  It was cool crisp air but the sky was clear and blue and the sun was bright and strong.  I scooted around my block twice and felt like a kid again.  Things felt good even though really nothing particularly good is going on in my life.  I start work tommorow, it should be interesting at the very least.  Honeywell, building missiles.  Drove by the place today to estimate the time and stuff for arrival.  It's a nice place, big and clean and not to depressing looking like CIBC where I worked before.  That place was not my idea of fun times.  I once fell asleep at my desk and awoke in a puddle of drool with the stupid Win95 Screen Save going.  My boss at that point realized I was not a very intelligent person.  I once was photocopying stuff when the photocopier began smoking and instead of pulling the fire alarm I just closed the door and walked out and waited for the next sucker to pull it.  We all got evacuated out but nothing really happened.

Second day of work.  I had chicken balls in the Honeywell cafeteria.  They were oddly reminiscent of chicken balls I had in a past lifetime.  Crispy, yet tender, and moist.  Work was oddly grueling despite the fact that I managed to do nothing but flip through a binder of acronyms 4 times. FAIR = First Article Inspection Review.
FMA = Failure Mode Analysis
and on and on.  Ugh.  Hopefully things will improve but prospects look dim.  I've decided I can no longer stand the presence of the enormous bag of sunflower seeds on my desk which tempt me.  I have moved them to a lower drawer in my desk.

I woke up today only to notice I had transformed into a monstrous cockroach.  Just kidding.  But I did wake up today and feel like reading a book.  I haven't read a book in over 3 years, it's kind of sad.  I enjoy writing but reading never was high on my list of fun things to do  (unlike say sleeping and eating).  But today I wanted to read so I went to the library and then to Chapters to find the book I wanted but it wasn't there.  If anyone you know has Ask the Dust by John Fante, tell them to give it to me.  Thanks.  I hope you guys are checking out all the pics I've been adding lately, they're all over this site.  I'm also trying to think of other stuff to put on this site, the messageboard has been popular, the polls not so much, I added a slot machine to amuse yourself with.  A whole week of work looms ahead, I'll keep you posted if any neato stuff happens.  PS I found the url to my sisters site, I have no idea what all the stuff she has on it is supposed to be, but I'm pretty jealous of the fact that she knows how to make a  menu and thumbnails.  But she has less than a quarter of the hits I have, woo hoo. Last night was like a full moon and the sky was clear and the air cool.  Those are nights where we should all be outside just walking around by Lakeshroe or in forrests chilling.  It was depressing.  Today was also nice at work, the day went by fast because I had crap to do, which is good.  If you don't know the main page is now located off of UW servers which make them a shade faster tho they're still slow because the pics are really high quality and big.  SLowly the whole site will move there so you don't have to deal with as many pop up windows and crap.  Props to ALok he hooked me up large with knowledge on how to do stuff like that.  So if you use www.minh.ishandsome.com it now points tehre, but if you use my old geocities url go check out the new one

This weekend I'm going to London it should be nice to check in on some friends up in Western and check out the scene there.  Maybe I'll bring a camera and take snaps.  I saw a movie about cults yesterday.  It's really scary stuff, like 920 people commited suicide for Jim Jones simultaneously.  That's more than my entire highschool.  Please promise me you'll never join a cult, I'd be so sad.  Write a message board promising me you won't please.

Things are looking up in the life of Minh Tran (that's me).  Today I got an e-mail from NOW magazine (an arts weekly here in Toronto and surrounding regions) informing me that they'll be publishing my letter in the upcoming NOW which comes out every Thurs.  My letter (which I didn't save so I forgot exactly what I wrote) basically defended Weezer for the concert they put on, because the reviewer dissed them up pretty bad in this review.  That link will become defunct in a week and I'll replace it with the correct one.  I'll scan in my letter once it gets printed. That should be neato.  Work was good today because I was kept busy doing pretty interesting stuff.   The cafe at Honeywell is a veritable bargain bin. Today I had fries with gravy, and then a corn beef on rye sandwhich with the works, and pickles on the side for all of $3.20 including tax.  I was literally doing back flips when I saw that price come up.

Off to Western tommorow (Friday) so no updates in a while, if you need your fix of Minhsterisms, go check out this weeks NOW magazines free at HMV's and coffee shops etc.  I'm in the letter's to editor.  I didn't write a masterpiece or anything but it's still cool being in the papers, heres the link for the online version - my letter to editor.   The link to the original review of Weezer is dead now but I'll update it as soon as NOW puts the article in their archives.  I also have a printed version maybe I'll scan that in.  It rained today all day.  Some people like it when it rains but I don't.  Rain is just annoying, dirty and depressing.  It sounds ok for a little while but even that gets boring.  I've worked pretty hard for two weeks now I think it may be time to reward myself with something.  I'm thinking about getting shoes, brown Clark's Wallabees but I wanna see if I can find them cheap.  I've tried them on and they look pretty sweet.  But hell, I look sweet in anything, I'm bloody sexy.  Til' we meet again (Sun night prolly), take care and post someting on my board!

September 17th 2000
Hey party people, I'm back from Lndon, it was a good time, only basic downer was that the beer at the kegger was a pain in the ass to access and was pretty darn foamy, and that I got a darn parking ticket (right).  What bugs me about the ticket is that it's a bylaw I got tagged by, and bylaws don't have to be posted.  Because the sign said no parking between 8am and 9pm, but even as such there's no parking the rest of the time either because of another bylaw which doesn't have to be posted.  Ugh.  Ahh well, the party itself was a pretty good time, I saw tons of people I haven't seen in a long time and missed dearly.  My friend Andy and his house mates through the party and to their credit it went off pretty well, with over 400 people juicing it up in the backyard.  Alas no dancing midget, the shrimpy bastard wanted too much dough or something.  Ahh well.  As has been well documented, Western is known for having some very beautiful girls and I must say I was not dissapointed as such.  The only criticism in this aspect was that they have very good looking girls, but of only one basic type: The Blonde Bombshell.  Not that that's a bad thing.  At any rate that night we (myself and Graham) crashed at my friend Anna's place. The next day we chilled at Graham's friend Chloe's loft and personally I thought it was the coolest student res I'd ever seen, with like 12 foot ceilings, hardwood flooring and a very spacious and funky layout.  That night we went the "Busy Beaver "The Drink" and "The Cherry", the hot club as it were in London on Saturday night.  It was a fun time and we boogeyed on down in a bunch of the different rooms and admired many of the pretty gals around.  Again, lots of people I havent's seen in ages.  I saw in the both nights I went ot London people I'd been friends with in Mini-Skool (before Kindergarten), Cherry Hill (elementary school), Dixie (elementary school), Tomken (middle school) and GFSS and Waterloo.  I'm pretty happy about that.  Coming back I found my room to be ransacked by my mother into a neat and normal place of habitation.  What pissed me off is she ended up throwing out a lot of stuff I fucking wanted to keep.  Example being the original Weezer concert review article.  So I can't scan that in for you though I *can* scan my letter that got printed (right).  Oh well that was my weekend go post on my messageboard how your weekend was.  Because I care.
This is just one ticket I got, I got another one for being "too good looking" in public.  Just joking.

Today was back to work day. Nothing happened.  Me and my buddy Mike noticed that the girls that work the cafe in the afternoon are pretty hot.  We're gonna have to see if we can work any angles there next time we see them.  There's nothing quite like a girl wearing an apron and visor......... I'm pretty lonely on weekdays because everyone I know basically is back at school so they're busy studying.  So I basically spend hours and hours online working on my website (big update today btw) or chatting on ICQ.  I miss having more fun, the fun I have on weekends is oh so fleeting.  For dinner I had honey garlic chicken wings, yuu-mmy.

What's up people, sorry no journal yesterday just chilling, basking in the reccent resurgence in hits I've been getting. I got the most hits yesterrday since August 8th.  Cool cool.  I just gotta keep diggin deep to come up with new shit worth surfing too.  Check out my Japan travel pics, stats indicate few peopel ahve, there are 3 pages of that goodness btw.  Today was actually the most fun I've had on a weeknight in a while.  It was cool because i had fun without drinking, which is hard for me sadly.  I hung out with an old-good friend Adam Jocksich He used to be a great musician when I jammed it up with him back in the day but now he's just incredible at all manner of instruments.  We jammed it up for awhile and it was invigorating doing that stuff again.  I can still hold my own to some degree on the bass which is relieving, I'd like to see how I fair on guitar tho. If I still kick ass yo!
Today for lunch I had popeyes.  That's good stuff, spicy but good.  ANd a sub  for dinner from subway. Subway is getting all crazy now with a sidecut sub and fancy buns, it's been a while since I been there, I've been out of the sub game tool ong, the scene's changed.
Just for future reference, this article will be the first and last time you'll ever see me using the imagery such as "sucking media dick".
Golf is really tiring you'd be surprised.

Journal Entry #23
Sept. 24th 2000
Hello people of the web, as you may have surmised I'm getting pretty desperate for content, last week I actually dug through the garbage to find the Weezer concert article just to scan it in, and there it is to the right, tho it's pretty hard to read and I didn't want to scan it any larger because people already bitch enough about how slow my site loads.  I did a website analysis at www.mycomputer.com and they said my pages were over 2000% too big, as in the recommended size for a page is 55 k and mine over in at like 1400k.   Since I'm a sucker for hits I'm gonna start separating all the pages out more, such as moving the journal to its own page and putting more pages with less pics on each kinda dealy.  Hope you can handle that.  Last coupla days have been half decent, had a nice chill time at Gaby's on Friday at downtown Toronto drinking it up with friends and peeps from Innis college, there were some cuties out which was heartening, but I didn't talk to them which is also typical of me.  Graham actually yanked down a neon OPEN sign off of some ice cream store beside Gaby's but it was damaged on the way down so it's pretty much garbage. Saturday I just slept and watched some olympics and played some Starcraft at Graham's house.  Today I played some Golf at Cetennial with my hombre Jay, tehre's my green fee over to the right, I don't have the score card but I managed to get something like 104 on a part 68 or someting.  Go me.  It was really nice going out golfing for the first time this year.  Afterwards we had lunch/dinner at this diner called Zet's.  The souvlaki skewer they served me resembled the torso of a cat in thickness and was equally juicy and delicious.  A week of work looms ahead, I think as a collective group we should all have one goal for the week.  I'll tell you when I think of one.
Trust me, this is waaay better than my drivers license.

Eh how you doin?!  I watched Soprano's the last coupla nights for the first time it's pretty good. Like it's amazing how much swearing gets on there tho.  Impressive.  Oh I also bought a book on the weekend, I've decided I need to read more, I bought Visions of Jazz by Gary Giddins.  It's a book on the history of Jazz basically.  I thought it'd be interesting since I'm always listening to jazz to read up on some of the artists and songs and events.  To the left is my Honeywell ID.  I kinda realized it's pretty retarded of me to joke around on my friggin' front page about a company that builds top secret missiles and stuff so I'm just gonna put the picture here and that'll be that.  I'd prolly still get beat up if they saw it but it's a lot harder finding it here I guess.  I'm running pretty low on content now so gonna have to dig deep for some worthwhile crap.  Any ideas? Post them on my board.  Oh yah if you haven't checked out my page 5 in a while there are quite a few new pics tehre, go give em a gander.  Notice I said gander not gang banger.

Hey people not much going down with me today, I was actually stressed at work from having so much crap to do.  But the day went by way fast at least that way.  Tommorow is Friday woo hoo, another damm week in the books, anotehr week of my life relegated to the dustbin of life.  I've decided I want to be cremated when I die, it's too spooky thinking of my corpse getting all stinky and poked around by an embalmer.  I wouldn't mind being converted into a robotic being either tho and have robot wars.  What's up with you guys this weekend? I'm going to a Casino and maybe jamming some more with Adam which should be cool I miss playing music.  Go check out the new page I made today with ICQ pages on it, and go check out my new 4th page of my Japan trip its one of the dead fishies.  PS my t-shirt company is starting to roll into action soon, look out for i love hiphop tees on all the cool kids soon.

You know I don't really have much in the way of a journal.  Compared to Anne Frank's diary my memoirs are destined to go down the annals of anal.  My past 26th entries contain not a morsel of deep thought, not a shred of selt-reflection nor a moment of profundity.  All I have are comments regarding what I ate that day and then some useless tidbit about my day.  What the hell is that, that's pretty damm garbage and I dunno what to do.  If millions of people read this 30 years down the road they're gonna think I'm pretty darn vapid.  Oh well.  Casino Niagara was goodtimes, I went for the guaranteed bet: Alcohol.  Dinner was at Wimpys diner, my Roast Beef dinner was pretty darn good.  AFter the casino we went to Rumours a trashy bar filled with Buffalo peopel living it up and grinding like it's going out of style.  I had a nice time, and it was a whole wack of elecs out and I got a few pictures snapped so once i develop and scan them I'll post em and you can nod your head with approval.

I worked out today.  That involved lifting various weights in various ways and then going on this elliptical trainer for a whole 25 mins.  The Elliptical trainer almost killed me, I haven't worked that hard for that long since I swam across the Pacific on refugee status.  I dunno if I feel better afterwards but I might try and do that more often as logistics allow.  I wouldn't mind looking a little buffer too.  If you've seen me in these pics or in real life I'm basically muscle-free.  Thanksgiving is coming up, it's a weird tradition in our house but we usualyl either send a turkey to a restaurant to cook it for us days in advanced or we buy lobster and cook it up.  I hope this year it's lobster. It amazes me how many people have never tried shit like lobster.  It's good.  Alright peace.

It's too much of a pain to take photos get them developed and then get them scanneda nd certainly none of you guys are submititng any crap for me to juice up my site with, yah, thanks a lot.  OH well am I the only one who starts running when I'm walking and htinking about someting cool?  Like I'll be walking in the hallways at Honeywell to get a form or something and I'll remember the time we were playing "In the jungle" at like 3am around campus and I'll start skipping or running wihtout even knowing it.  I look retaded and people look  at me before I can stop myself. I just don't get why i do that.  It takes so little to get me excited.  LAst night I chilled at my friend Adam's house again and we jammed.  This time there were more musicians and the jams were pretty damm shitty.  Stuff was out of tune and it was jsut hard getting jiggy with so many chefs in on the stew.  Ahh well still good times.  If you guys are looking for a goodtime tommorow I'm gonna be drinking in and around Front Street from 1pm on and then going to a bowling alley for my man Graham's b-day and then Lava Lounge.  Come join me.

Sup I know it's been ages, I've been lazy and busy.  My weekend's been good and I can't really complain in that regard.  Had a great time on Friday, got off work at Noon, chilled with my compadre Mike, went downtown had a coupla pints with Mike and Vikas (doodoo) at some bar.  Then went over and chilled at Innis with Frank and some of the Innis crew had a few more beers.  Then  it was Graham's b-day went down to a bowling alley back in Sauga, had a few more beers.  And then after Graham and his accomplice stole the beautiful neon Budweiser sign (I mean it's beautiful, it casts the most glorious glow into a small room) we went to Lava Lounge to boogey on down and drink it up.  First time there for me and it was a small funky little joint tho the crowd was a little to old and a little to greasy.  Still had a great time and it was a good reunion for a lot of people I haven't seen since summer.  What was freaky was my dad was sitting at the steps waiting for me when I got back, he didn't yell at me or anythting but I think he was afraid I was in trouble or someitng.  Freakky tho.  Saturday was laid back and relaxed, I whipped out my soldering Iron and was fixing my guitar up getting back into the swing of things as such.  Had sushi for lunch.  Actually had sushi for lunch today too at probably the best buffet I've been to in Canada - I usually hate those type of places but Oriental Feast   actually was quite good with real raw sushi that was decent and all you can eat consisting of actually raw salmon and ingredients, great salad bar and then tasty usual Chinese Buffet type things.  Recommended.  Then we went to Pacific Mall it's basically a big asian mall with lots of funky trinkets and pretty cute gals and nice cars in the parking lots if nothing else.    Oh well then topped the night off with Zet's with my bro Luke, the chicken souvlaki is even better than the pork souvlaki btw.  Amazing as usual.  Go check out my bday directory.  Last tmie I checked it wasn't working but it might later on.

I had lobster for dinner today.  I washed my hands afterwards but they still kinda smell seafoody and I typed on my keyboard and not it reeks of stank seafood. People think it's weird that i have lobster instead of turkey for thanksgiving but Lobster just tastes better so what's a bro to do but have what he likes better.  It was a pretty solemm dinner however as we found out a good family friend had suffered a severe stroke.  It's crazy how that stuff can sneak up on people, he was a really good father to his kids and it's pretty scary thinking stuff like that can just happen.  Overall I had a half decent long weekend, no complaints I guess.  I kinda wanna get back into the swing of things at school now tho, life seemed a little more exciting back up in Loo.  My b-day page is working now tho my ambitious initial goals have been rolled back into basically a text list.  Some of you may not realize this but I build all these pages on a Geocities Java Web-based pagebulder type thingee which just dies on slow dial-up connections on mine.  It's a real pain to make some pages.  Having a Pentium 200 doesn't help either, I got that for my 17th birthday.  It's a war horse and I've spent crazy amounts of time on it but jeez I should buy a new one.  And a digital camera to really make this site fresh with updates.  Props by the way to Luke for the Java wave image on the front page tho it still has some gay ads and crap and takes a decade to load.  I'll fix that soon tho.  It's getting cold, one positive thing about that is my fall/winter wardrobe is far more developed than my Summer wardrobe so I look more stylish.

Do any of you guys write journals?  Am I the only one perpetuating this lost art?  Is there somehting I should be writing in a journal that I'm not?  Is it more interesting to read about a person's bad day or a person's good day?

Greetings fellow netizens, how're you doing.  I'm doing ok, really happy the weekend is rolling in tho, nothing too exciting happens to me on weekdays.  I know I sleep a lot tho.  This weekend I'm headed up to Waterloo for Oktoberfest festivities, and apparently we're hanging out at some beer garded called the Sweitzerhaus.  Lord knows what it'll be like but if it's like last years summerfest it'll be good times.  I'm on a kind of fast food roll the last two days.  I had some delcious Pizza Hut Canadian Pan pizza  and it wasn't  too pricey since I had one of those coupons you get when you buy almonds.
Woo hoo!  It was all thanks to you guys, *mwah*! And today I had KFC.  People are so anti-KFC now because its greasy and unhealthy but damm it hits the spot when  you're fixing for some chicken.  Checked my site stats today and to my lovely surprise the site had quietly hit 3000 unique page hits.  That means like it's not just me sitting in front of my page hitting refresh but you guys actually surfing to it.  I just need to get my site linked to by some major sites and I'll be a star in no time.  In fact by the end of the day when I checked my site was over 3150.  That's pretty kickbutt.  I noticed today my hair is getting ridiculously big and I may just have to go in for a serious trim.  I just look no good even when I style it up.  I have no idea what kind of cut to get tho like buzz again or still serious frou frou.  Who knows time will tell.  I worked out today for the second day straight working on my lower half today.  I weighed myself as well today.  I weigh 168 lbs.  Is that big or not? I have some pretty muscular friends who aren't even like 140 lbs so I dunno wehre hte hell my extra 30 lbs are going because I resemble a crack addict muscularity wise.  Do you think girls will like me more if I have muscles? Who knows I always figured they don't really care but I'm not sure so I'll get buff and find out.  Alright have a nice weekend folks, I'm outtie.

What's up people of the web, it's Minh back from my weekend.  On Friday I went to Nina's birthday party it was pretty incredible what Frank her boyfriend did for her.  He filled an entire residence suite up with baloons to the top for her it was seriously crazy, like $150 just on balloons and he got her a bunch of other really nice stuff too.  Then we went to Peel Pub and it was a gay ol' time out on the dance floor and in and around the bar.  If you guys know me you know I'm definitely more of a beer guy but I had a coupla shots that night too just for good times.  Everyone with us was out on the dance floor so it was actually pretty nice.  Not too many sore thumbs on the dance floor either.  Up in Waterloo my friends think I'm a pretty half-decent dancer but down in Toronto all my T.O. friends are pretty badass with the moves so it's a good learning experience.  Saturday night we went to Oktoberfest, the place we went to was basically out 4th choice in terms of venues: The Sweitzerhaus - aka a Croation Church with a banner thereby making it, for at least that night, the Sweitzerhaus.  I'll scan in the ticket for the event, 10 whopping bucks for what amounted to a cheesy coverband  wearing lederhosen busting out a mix of oldies and german drinking songs.  Things got pretty damm rowdy by the end of the night which included some pretty disgusting/pathetic stuff that will remain locked with the circle of people involved in the *incidents*.  At least I hope.  I stole a maraca which I hopefully will put to good use in a band. Today after some Tony Hawk II and a pit stop and McDonalds we hightailed it back home and I headed off to the funeral of a good family friend.  He died of a stroke at 49 and left behind 3 kids and a wife.  He was an amazingly nice and funny guy and his kids were really tight with him and each other, it's pretty crazy how stuff like that can just happen.  The kids took it amazingly well tho and I have no worries things'll turn out cool.  It was only the second funeral I've ever been to tho I suspect far from the last.  Lord knows how I'd handle it if my parents died, hell my mom still packs my lunch everyday for work and my dad ties my ties.  I'm among the most ill-prepared and unkept people I know.  Looking at the week ahead, I see nothing really cool planned- tho possibly Mac.  Oh well that is all.

Yo people, I broke my glasses yesterday.  That represents the 10th pair of glasses I've broken since I started wearing glasses in grade 11.  That's me in a nutshell.  This time I just took a nap with them on after work and awoke to find them in pieces all over me.  I think I'm going to switch over to either contacts or like chunky geek style glasses. I've broken most of my glasses that way.  I'm pretty dumb.  Work has been the same old same old really same with after school shit. Nothing too exciting goes down just relaxing on ICQ or in front of the computer.  No fresh ideas for the site tho if you haven't checked out the poll page, or the icq page or the b-day page I add crap to those semi-daily.  You wanna be in a poll? I wanna add more but have no idea what questions/answers to put for most people.  I *tried* to get my hair cut but the place I called (Strands) was booked solid.  Bummer so I guess big afro for Minh for a lil' while longer.  Hmm I worked out today again, for the third time ever.  Got pretty sore and all but I'm looking beefier.  I weigh 170 which is pretty chunky no?  I still can't bench doodoo tho or curl much but I'm getting better.  But knowing me I'll get lazy and stop going and it'll be back to boney Minh.  Boney M.

Another dry day in the life of Minh.  UPS delivered a stereo I ordered months ago to my house today but I wasn't in so they're gonna try again tommorow.  Of course I *work* so it's not like I'm gonna be in tommorow either but hopefully at that point they'll let me just go grab it at their warehouse or whatever.  It's a TUBE amp so it'll glow and heat up and stuff, hopefully it'll blow my socks off.  Listening to music has basically been my number one hobby for last coupla years, I just dig music a lot.  So what do you guys think I should add to my page, I'm honestly at a loss for new content.  The poll page is getting lotsa hits but hardly any votes and I can't think of any more polls to put up, my creative juices are drained.  Howbout you guys send me random rants?  That'd sure be cool, go type crap in to the right and send it and I'll post it.  Do any of you guys want your own journals too? That can be done as well just contact me and say you want a journal and it'll be done.

What the dilly yo.  Just Minh checking in again making sure you know things are ok in my life.  I signed up for my G test today since my G2 runs out in about a year and that's how long it takes to book a test.  Please guys if any of you are talking to me April 27th remind me that I have to be in Malton by 3pm for my driving test.  It'd suck if I missed that.  Itd be nice to save a nice chunk of cash on insurance by getting that.  Today I had fish and chips for lunch.  Damm quality fish and chips make a fierce meal worth of a king.  Delicious.  Weekend is nearing, which means I actually have fun instead of do nothing like weekdays.  Looks like housepart/G-Spot on Friday and then my good friend Eric's b-day celebration on Saturday.  He turns 20 finally god bless his soul.  I haven't seen much of him at all since uni started but we use to hang lots in high school.  He's a good guy and I'm sure he hasn't changed.  He has a $1500 leather coat, that's pretty bad ass.  I have a $15 windbreaker that says Bloor Baseball League on it.  Minh 1 Eric 0.  Booya.  Still no progress in the hair or amp department.  UPS is pure stress when it comes to that bullshit.  Oh well stuff will figure itself out.  PS Still no rants from you guys what're you doing to me here, I'm in shambles.  Hope you like my rant, it's pretty crappy so I'm hoping yer all not intimidated to try and top that lousy rant.  I've got promises from Patty and Luke so far, I'd love for a girl to contribute or just anyone.  Jeezus Im sick of seeing my own words everywhere.  Luke's also got a site he's working on, I'll link it when he's done building the work in progress.  Alright take care you chalupas.
This is the ticket from the beer garden we went to over Oktoberfest.  I stole the house bands Maracas.  Minh 1, Croatian Church 0.

How's it going chalupas, just Minh here checking in.  I finally got my tube amp, listening to some Miles Davis - In A Silent Way on a late Saturday night (2am) and it's been a semi-pleasant weekend.  Went to Jan's Birthday Party on Friday that my man Jay S told me about and it was a jumping time, free alcohol and everything.  Alas my partner in crime Graham wasn't feeling to comfortable about the vibe (a lil' dressy) and I must agree I wasn't feeling to jiggy either so we split for G-spot to meet up with Denesen, Allison, Sej, Risch, Greg, K-dogg and a bunch of others.  G-spot is a lot nicer now than it ever was when I used to go last year.  Whole extra wing to it which is really well done.  I actually had a nice time chilling with the crew up in the hip hop room and then later mostly with Graham in the house room.  There were some nice girls out but not too many.  We also met there some old GFSS people that were really nice like Chandelle, Laura, Marcus, Petrina, Hans and Krista.  They're all looking good and doing well and one of them I just think is darn sexy. Alas I was caught up in dancing up a storm and didn't really get a chance to talk to them. Sady here comes the crappy part of my night.  Upon returning to my car (Graham was DD) to get home me and Graham found both our cells to have been stolen.  Annoying for me since it has the numbers of pretty much everyone I know, but devestating for Graham as he's trying to sell his car and the classified ad lists his cells number.  If you assholes who stole our cells are reading this (haha fat chance) I want you to know you guys are pretty stupid.  What the hell are you going to do with a cell, the serial numbers have now been reported as stolen so have fun trying signing up at Rogers and we cut off service like this morning.  And when I grow up and become rich and successful I will make sure you shine my childrens shoes.

Today was just glorious weather.  Nice cool air, beaming sun I scooted around lakeshore with my family which was really nice and had a nice big platter of sushi over at our local sushi hut.  Delish.  And tonight Luke came over and we listened to my new stereo and then I went over to Julia's b-day celebration.  She's one kick ass chick with looks and brains (and a boyfriend -  Warren!).  Brian gave me one sweet picture of me and her that I'll scan in tommorow.  We just chilled at Kelseys I had two pints and bought Julia two shots of Golfschlager.  They went off to Helium but after my shit club night I bailed.  Happily upon checking my e-mail tonight I received THREE, yes THREE new rants for my slowly developing rant page.  Go Check it out I hope it turns into something special.  Take care Amigos and keep the homefires burning.

Ladies and germs whats up with you, not much going on with me today, I cleaned my room up now and reorganized everything.  The new centre piece to my room is my stereosystem.  Which occupies a huge amount of space.  Cleaning up my room I found some old pics so scanned in two of em, I'm going to post them on a new page of pics just to get the ball rolling on that since I haven't had a new Friends page in a while.  Otherwise  today i just chilled at htome and then went downtown with Graham.  Ended up buying this reversible Gap winter down vest.  It's pretty sweet, if you ever see me this winter I'll prolly be rocking it. It's blue and red and I bought an XL because that's what fit the best in the store but now at home I kinda wish I'd gone with a L.  Ahh well maybe I'll fill it out come winter.

If my reception was better or the station's power was better this is the radiostation I would listen to everyday: 88.5 Dancing Oldies.  There is some seriously awesome  old motown, soul, funk and rnb on there.  I was tuning in once and heard Sam and Dave, Jean Knight, Marvin Gaye, War and Shirelles in one set.  Hot damm.  Tune in.  But usually it's pretty unstable and hissy in all but my home system so I have to resort to choice number two: Kiss 92.5.  It's my favorite morning show and Sugarbaby has got one delicious voice I like waking up to.  Tommorow is Tuesday so go grab some McNuggets and fries for cheap.  Today I had a group lunch with the head honcho of all of Honeywell it was pretty cool.  Saw like some UT co-ops I've never seen before.  Where have they been hiding.  PS if you haven't submitted your phone number seriously do so.  I literally have no ones numbers saved anywhere but on the CEll I got stolen, and have the worst numerical memory ever.  Like even if I know you really well and call you everyday, or regularly, trust me I don't have your number and will be unable to call you ever again unless you submit.  Please please please.  I'm going to buy like a palm pilot or someitng to store the numbers.  Or maybe not I'd lose a PP in a second.  But please submit or I'll take it personally and never call you.  And PS It's all private it won't be posted on my site or anyting.

Work was painful today.  All the tasks I had to do sucked ass and I didn't exactly have too many tasks to do either.  I was so bored I released my picture onto www.amIHotOrNot.com  basically everyone on the site gets to rate you and you rate others.  Right now I'm cruising by with a 2.9 out of 10.  Great.  You guys go vote that up to at least a 5 and make me feel less like doodoo ok?  Just follow the link off the main page.  Seriously drop some 10s on me so far the most popular choice is 1 so far according to AmIhotornot.  That just hurts.  Then again it is my Panda pic.  Had McNugget deal today at McDonalds. Damm that's one sweet deal.  Uhm yah so I guess I got no more to talk about so peace out.  Oh yah I got my hair cut today too, it's kinda buzzy and chunky I dunno I dont like it.

Come closer.  Closer.  Closer.  There.  Psst.  Wanna hear my idea for a screenplay?  Ok it's gonna star Rosie Perez, Wesley Snipes and Woody Harrelson.  It's gonna involve Wesley and Woody playing hoops for money in street tournaments where Woody struggles to gain the respect of Wesley as well as other players because of his lack of pigmentation and requisite "hops".  In the subplot Rosie is Woody's love interest and makes a successful gambit on Jeoprady.  I'm thinking of calling it "Jammin' in Jamaica with Woody."  Tell me what you think.  Today was another lame day at work.  I tested some quasi-robotic missile actuators and they were indeed defective.  In otherwords the missile woulda been outta control and would have gone and killed the wrong innocent family as opposed to the correct innocent family.  Phewf.  High five for Minh.  I went and took a nice hour long break to reward myself.  That break consisted of surfing the net in my secluded cubicle.  Got lots of positive feedback on my hair cut.  When all gelled up it looks pretty spiffy, I could be the asian member of NSync, call me NChynk or something.  Uhm go check out a new rant added today, it's a total classic from S2k, aka Somen.  Peace.

My weekend was very nice.  Went up north to Honey Harbor specifically.  Got lost due to poor directions and first went all the way to Gravenhurst before turning around and making it back.  The place was crazy, I can't believe there are places like this in Canada with like tiny dirt roads winding around bush trails and into tiny secluded islands and crap.  Well on one of those islands was a giant generator and a stage with PA full drum kit and loads of amp and other equipment.  It was a nice sized crowd but basically only about 5 girls and like 30 guys.  Ahh well no poonan for M-dog.  We jammed it up and stank it up, couldn't really get any good grooves or really whacked out trippy shit going.  It was damm cold and we were thoroughly under the influence making it a double whammy of crappy music being generated by our collective.  I stayed primarily on the bass as I felt most comfortable there.  It was quite the experience tho to jam under the beauty of the noerthern lights.  I had no idea they would be so visible and radiant from such a southerly location.  But they were and highly suggest you check it out sometime.  Tonight I got contact lenses.  I can finally see what I look like from far away without glasses on.  I look damm sexy without glasses on from far away.  Ladies how have you been resisting me? It makes no sense.  I'm getting pretty good at putting them on and off too tho I still poke the hell out of my poor eyes.
