OK, what would happen if a company made a copy of the Chief?
And let's have a peek at the 1948 Aeronca factory Brochure!
If that isn't an Aeronca Chief I don't know what is... let's see, we'll change the rudder shape a little to make it look like a new airplane, but we'll get the tape measure out and copy all the tubing and wing measurements from this old Chief out on the tarmac! Actually, doesn't anyone know if the PushPak had any sort of license with Aeronca? I think it did at one time.....Aeronca did license the C-3 model for production in another British Empire country... England!

Below is the 1948 Aeronca Factory brochure (sorry Sedan fans, those pages wouldn't fit!) The Aeronca factory has now abandoned the Tall-A and Winged Aeronca company logos... it's now "Aeronca" written in paint on the cowling with a special script.....
Here is a link to the Aeronca mailing list group
web page, headed by John Rodkey out in California!
Join the list and learn more about Aeronca, the plane you'll want to fly! You'll have to read about John's trip around the USA in his Chief as he went to the Aeronca factory flyin in 1998! Also, there are more Aeronca planes for Microsoft Flight Simulator there too!
