I started martial arts way back when I was a kid watching Kung Fu Theater on Sunday mornins. But seriouslly. My 'martial art career' didn't start until I was 24 years old. I didn't ever have an official class until December of 1997. The first (and my primary) school I trained with is Triad Tae Kwon Jutsu, headed by Judan Larry Hartsook. The only break to date that I'ave had from this school is when I trained while deployed to Kuwait from February of1998 to May of 1998.

I tested for my black belt on November 3rd of 2001. It was an exciting day. I will soon add photos (and maybe video) of that test below soon.

I was awarded my black belt soon after. I'm so excited about it. is a long time goal and dream come to life.
