Using World Book Distance Calculator Controls

Use the World Book Distance Calculator controls to specify locations, switch between Calculator Views, turn the grid and Day/Night modes on or off, print the view, and change the World Book Distance Calculator settings.

To open the Distance Calculator View, click the left button of the View control or choose Distance Calculator from the View menu.
  To view the 3D Globe, click the center button of the View control or choose Globe from the View menu.
To open the Flat Map View, click the right button of the View control or choose Flat Map from the View menu.
To spin the globe, click the left or right button of the Spin control or choose Spin Backward or Spin Forward from the Tools menu.

To stop the globe spinning, click the center button of the Spin control or choose Stop Spinning from the Tools menu.

To turn the Day/Night mode on or off, click the Day/Night icon on the toolbar, or choose Set Night Mode On/Off from the Tools menu.

To turn the grid mode on or off ,click the Grid icon on the toolbar or choose Show/Hide Grid from the Tools menu.

To center the locations you have entered on the Navigation Map, click the Center Locations on Map on the Distance Calculator screen.

To print the current view, click the Print icon, choose Print from the File menu, or press Command+P on your keyboard.

To open help, click the Help button, choose World Book Distance Calculator Help from the Help menu, or press Command+? on your keyboard.

To change the World Book Distance Calculator settings, click the Settings icon. The Settings drawer opens. To close the Settings drawer, click this icon again. You can also open or close the Settings drawer by choosing Show/Hide Settings Drawer from the Tools menu.
