Hello Family and Friends!
Greetings from California! Hopefully, you are doing
well!
Life continues to move on... We're not so tired anymore, but we tend to feel a little overwhelmed with everything going on. We're having a lot of fun with Evelyn. She talks and signs a lot. She is always full of energy, and it will be interesting to see how her teachers handle her in school.
As I write this page, Evelyn is building a tower with her Legos and laughing about it. She is a little loud, so she said "outside." She knows that's her outside voice.
Jesse is sort of enjoying her current position as Evening Administrator at Cañada College. She got a grant to create an online hybrid biology course for next semester. The lecture portion is online, but the students go in for the labs.
I am well into my seventh year at Columbia Middle School
teaching science as always but with one algebra class this year. I enjoy teaching, but I think I'm ready for a new challenge and adventure. Last year I wasn't offered a position overseas with the Department of Defense. So, this year I applied for a Fulbright overseas teaching program and a PhD in Education, as well as keeping my DoD application current. Who knows where we'll be next year.
