Hello. Here are the bare bone basics. I'm a college student, who is just surviving exam to exam and doing all I can to enjoy life.
Somewhere around age 8 I started scrambling eggs, making Ramen, and helping my mom make cheesecake. Then I progressed into the other breakfast foods, and honey mustard chicken. Until recently I stayed with just these few recipes, but about seven months ago, I started picking up all my families best recipes. It started with making Hawaiian chicken, one of my mom's best recipes, for my family. Most recently I have made my Dad's beef brisket and chicken fried rice. My next steps have been going into my Grandparents and Great-grandparents recipes. Top of page
I was 11, I was staying up late talking with my dad, and I saw the movie Cocktail. That night my dad started teaching me the fine art of Mixology. It all started out simple on that night, I probably just learned 3 or 4 drinks. A month after that night I had my debut, on the fourth of July. From there, each year I have tackled new areas from virgin to flaming drinks. About three years ago I had my largest crowd of about fifty people. It was the one time that I had a crowd of about eighteen people all around the bar watching me make about three drinks at a time. Top of page
In the 6th grade I started playing trumpet. Back then I sounded more like a moose than a, well anything that resembled a musical instrument. Then with time, the moose quieted down and it started to sound like a trumpet. In high school, I played in jazz, marching, concert, and pit for "Bye Bye Birdie" and "Guys and Dolls". Then in college I continued with the concert band, and practicing the music I once played in High School. Top of page
Just about as long as I can remember, I wanted to become a lawyer. Originally all I knew was that I wanted to avoid, criminal and divorce law. Then I went to the National Youth Leadership Forum on Law, and discovered Constitutional law. Since then my studies of the Establishment clause have helped me through numerous papers and speeches. But while still in high school I took a class on Business Law, and found that I love that area most of all. Now I find myself studying to become a Corporate Lawyer. Top of page
I guess in a way I could be looked at today as a small classic gamer. I'm not that interested in the PS 2, but find myself drawn to everything from Atari to Playstation one. Most of the time I find myself playing RPGs on Super Nintendo, Mario Brothers, or Sonic. I also go back into playing games on intelevision like Pit fall and B-17 bomber. Just as easily I can lose all track of time playing Harvest moon on Playstation. Basically it is something that is always there, it is relaxing, it is entertaining, and occasionally educational. Most of the time while I'm at college if everyone is off at work, asleep or at class, I am left with the option of either sleeping, watching DVDs or playing video games. Quite often I pick the latter. For a little extra entertainment I often visit 8-bit theater or Pixeled Parodies. Top of page
Everything from the great classics to Sci Fi. When there is nothing on TV, and everyone else is asleep, at class, or at work, it is wonderful to curl up with a good book. These are my feelings at least. I just simply enjoy reading, be it a text book on Business law or the Sci Fi novel "The Nine Princes in Amber". Most recently I have been reading three books at the same time, each day reading some more from each one. I'm working on the ten book series of "The Nine Princes in Amber" (from my dad's extensive library), "I kissed dating goodbye" (which was recommended to me by Aislynn), and "Walden" (which I just had to have). As far as my traveling goes, I have been as far north as some place in Canada, to the Caribbean Islands, Bermuda, and this summer I plan to go to California. Canada I can't recommend, I took two cruises up there and the second one, I didn't even bother to get off the ship (ummm. . . just take it that the place was not interesting, I guess it makes sense that I would not want to leave the Jacuzzi with a virgin Pina colada in my hand. The Caribbean I would defiantly do again. The shops on St. Thomas and the beaches alone make it all worth while. Bermuda was mostly shopping again. Top of page
It be one of those great entertainments of the universe. For those who don't know what it is, it is Japanese animation (sorry I'm not going into more depth, but if you want to find out more about it, turn to a friend or go to google). Be it during breakfast, dinner or the middle of the night (or later) this is always a favored entertainment of mine. My favorite series are Love Hina, which I watched just before I got my acceptance to college, and Crest of the Stars which I first got to watch at Otakon 02. Conventions I have gone to: Katsucon 6, 7, 8, and 9, Otakon 02, 03, and 05, Madicon 04 and 05, Nekocon 7, and Animazement 05. Top of page
