This course is designed to provide the student with a better understanding of ecological principles and environmental issues seen on a local and global scale. It is also designed to provide the student with a better appreciation for Pennsylvania's natural resources and wildlife as its local flora and fuana will be examined. Participation in laboratory exercises, fieldtrips, and class projects will be required. Computer access is necessary for this course as frequent readings and writing assignments will be assigned.
