Many people have many different ideas about religion. I believe religion is bad for you.

Religion is identifying yourself with a group that usually looks down on others and usually has a set of rules it goes by. From what I read, that soulds like factions and dissentions (see II Corinthians 12:20; Galatians 5:19-21)
Denominations are an abomination.

God does not want His people to be slip over petty differences. He does, however, want us to be unified about a few things. As I read, I see major ideas popping up everywhere: Jesus is LORD, Baptism, the Kingdom, Unity, Faith, and, of course, love.

To split over a kitchen in the building or music in the assembly is ridiculous. No one gets to heaven by way of either of these things, nor are they kept out of heaven because of the same.

Some may ask, "don't you lead singing at that Church of Christ in Calhoun, Louisiana?" Yes I do, but, if you know us, you would understand why I am saying all these things. Every church has its problems; we are no different. We do, however believe that the Church of Christ people are not the only ones who can gain access into the kingdom of Heaven. In agreeing to this, we make an effort to associate ourselves in unity with the Baptists, Methodists and so on... Whoever will associate with us, we will do the same. It all goes back to the fundamentals listed above: Jesus is LORD, Baptism, the Kingdom, Unity, Faith, and Love.

As I gather the thoughts of my studies on each one of these fundamentals of being a Christian, I will be placing a page on this site. When I do, you can see what I think and respond as you like. I am not an old man, and I do not yet know everything, but I may be able to answer someone's questions.
